Whats the point of having these if you cant redeem them for anything? Its been at least 6 months where it has said “soon” on their member points page.

Is Aces the only site that doesnt reward players for frequent play?

  • jregger

FantasyHub also awards tickets that currently can only be used to enter contests… to win more tickets :)

It is thus far my only complaint with them. Fantastic site and support otherwise.

You can use them to purchase shirts and hoodies in their store.

The Aces store is legit, the shirts are nice

Link to the store? I am interested in contest tickets, have plenty of dfs clothing already.

When I click on member points, this is what it says:

“Accrue Ace Member Points every time you play a paid contest. You will soon be able to redeem your member points for playing cash, Fantasy Aces apparel, autographed cards, and other cool prizes. All will be available to you in our Players Store coming soon!”

Did a google search and found this:

“3. Once you receive your Fantasy Aces gear, you must post a picture of your item(s) purchased on social media and include the link to your social media post in the email with your purchase confirmation”

So even though you earn these points from paying them rake, you then need to post a photo online for them to pay you back for the shirt (after you already have purchased it yourself)

    What a joke.

It also states that you have to play through the money you spent on the shirt 3x to be paid back for the member points you already earned from paying rake. Talk about a double dip.

“4. Once all of the above steps are completed, we will deduct the member points from your account and reimburse your purchase amount into your Fantasy Aces account. This cash will be available immediately. (requires a 3x rollover before it can be withdrawn)”

  • BKLionKing

Would love to hear from a Fantasy Aces rep about why the messed up FPP policy. FPP are supposed to help drive loyalty, not attempt to screw your customers out of money.

I think the fact that Fantasy Aces offers $500 reload bonuses every 3 months offers way better value that any other sites “points” program. I think there’s way too much hate here. Also, they have monthly win bonuses too for high volume players (as of a month ago). The social media shirt thing sounds silly but lets look at the bigger picture here.

This. Seriously. If you take advantage of the reload bonuses and win bonuses you are paying way less rake than just about anywhere. I’m not sure what’s taking them so long to get a store up or allow points to cash but to say they are screwing customers out of money is a bit much

Think you are a bit misinformed in your statement that they dont reward players for frequent play. They have a wins bonus every month that pays up to 30 cents per win which is just as valuable if not more than any other loyalty rewards program out there. Bryan and Trent are not only great guys but have built a tremendous site that hosts great live events and really rewards high volume players.

You don’t need $500 in order to get the reload bonuses that just what the max bonus is.

Just recently started at Aces and I love that their roster construction mirrors DS. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the amount of traffic at Aces. Their cash games seem to always fill, well in advance of lock time. There are still win bonuses? How do I access them?

I agree that their policy on their gear, while understandable, is a bit much. However, to suggest that they’re screwing their players is asinine.

Why have the points then at all? Just have these win bonuses promoted more. Seems silly to have these member points with nothing to do with them. If you have to play through 3x to be reimbursed for a shirt you bought with your points thats ridiculous.

I think they have some really nice gear. Unfortunately I am unwilling or don’t want to take the time to go through all the steps to get it. I haven’t used any of my points. Would I play more on the site if I could use them? I guarantee I would wear their shirts and be a walking billboard if it was easier to get them.

    Hey Guys,

We have had quite a few support requests regarding our ACES member points being used for cash contests and we are aware of the frustration with this delay. We apologize for that and appreciate all of your feedback. We are a relatively smaller DFS operator and our main priority is to improve our core product and we are trying to make that possible by first finishing up and releasing our APP (which the beta should be available in the upcoming weeks!).

Please know that our leadership and tech team are aware of this concern and we will certainly be working on integrating this member points feature with much more urgency.

As mentioned above, we do have a team store available which you can use your member points for gear. Here is the link: http://fantasyaces.spreadshirt.com/

    Thanks!

While I agree that the member points concept doesnt seem to make a whole lot of sense, I was responding to your statement that Aces doesnt reward their players for high volume. If you run the numbers they offer one of the best, if not the best rake in the industry.

Although I would like to use my points for contest entries, this is much better news. Please tell me it’s Android as well.

I will echo what others have written that the team at Aces is arguably the best in the industry. Between reload and wins bonuses I earn much more then on any other site

It sounds like at some point the points will be convertible for contest entries. The fact that they were forward thinking and allowed players to accumulate points before they had a cash value, means when they have a cash value, they’ll be rewarding loyal players. For the record, Aces is not the only site that currently awards points with nothung to exchange them for.

You have to pay cash for the gear and then play the amount 3x over in order to get the cash back with your member points. Thats not exactly the same thing as just using member points for gear.

How is this not a double dip? You have to play contests to earn the member points and then have to play 3x the cash you spent on the gear in order to actually have the gear paid for.

Just as a suggestion (to FA) in a usability sense, external to the points thing – few people likely know about the store or the leaderboard because there is no UI way to easily get there. It is actually easier to use Google to get to parts of your site than it is from interacting with your site.

I had no idea you had a store even though I play there – but I Googled it after this thread.

And I don’t use the News tab (and even if I did, it is a bit of drinking from the firehose since most of it is not site related and gets lost in the shuffle), so never would have known about the leaderboard and I don’t see a way to see it anywhere in the UI or dropdowns.

Thanks Stevie! That’s pretty cool. I’ve only been dabbling, but that’s a great idea to promote play. I agree with smallandflaccid(LOL), I never knew about the store or where to access the wins bonus or the leaderboard until I saw this thread. I will definitely be playing more!

I think what you can take from this is that Aces is doing a pretty good job providing a place to play DFS. There is alot to like about their site. Keeping rake down is key to everyone’s success. A tweek to their points system where its just easier to use them would just make them even better.

Aces has become my favorite site, reminds me of StarStreet a bit with the roster spots and the tougher pricing. Excited about the app to come out, would be nice to have that instead of using safari to access it. I love the deposit bonuses and love the 2 QB idea for NFL. PGA has some softer pricing compared to DK, but that’s a nice change of pace and really lets you construct a solid lineup without having to rely on 2-3 punts.

I think Bowens is right though with the t-shirt idea. It should be a little easier to order and not sure why you have to pay cash and then play through it to get the cash back. The points should be used to simply get the shirt (or whatever future items come about). Make the shirts cost more points if you have to in order to get it with points only. But, definitely think there needs to be some small tweaks to the system.
