Any other Fantasy Labs users notice that they no longer have the “Latest News” feed for the NFL models? Looks like their NFL twitter account also stopped providing news updates. Seems odd they still have it for MLB, although it makes me wonder if NBA is next on the chopping block once that season starts.

I had hoped it was a issue with my browser or something, but after clearing cache, deleting temp internet files, etc… still nothing.

Don’t have Levitan to do it anymore. He was the one pushing the updates for NFL

I had hoped that wasn’t the reason. It’s not like it’s that difficult to find someone that can aggregate NFL news and make sure injuries, and active/inactive news is updated. I assume somebody is already doing it for the projections in the model. Not a very good look, IMO.

Makes me wonder what’s next… seems like sports betting is becoming the priority over DFS. I’ve had a subscription almost since the beginning, but this might be my last month with them.

They cut the NHL staff last year right in the middle of the season and I spent on what seemed like on a daily basis with the Labs Customer Service Chat telling THEM which NHL players are playing & needed to be added to the models ASAP.

I’ve been a Labs sub since day 1 but the bottom line is this:

Since they’ve been bought out by The Action Network, their product has gone to SHIT FAST!!! They’ve put all their resources towards The Action Network & FantasyLabs is almost an afterthought. I thought long & hard of switching to Daily Roto for NFL & NHL this season but decided to stay for three reasons.

    1. I’ve already built my own models, which I can’t do on DailyRoto, at least to my knowledge (If I’m wrong please correct me)
    2. All the Trends I’ve built for both sports
    3. I didn’t want to start out the new NFL Season learning a new model & product on the fly. DFS is stressful enough & I didn’t want to add another factor to that. I may switch next season for MLB when I only play casually & I can have time to mess around with it & not feel pressured.

The changes I see are always for the worse. Same thing here at RG.

Priorities are different when these smaller sites are sold to big corporations, sadly.

The main reason I really didn’t want to leave is Justin Pham, NBA is by far my biggest sport.

I thought it was odd that NHL last season felt like there wasn’t anybody keeping up with it. I don’t play much NHL, but it was a joke compared to years past.Just looking around today I see quite a few similar complaints (all since the buyout). I guess it has came down to a business decision for them, betting over DFS. I wish them luck, but eventually they’ll lose enough subs and they will either have to shut down the DFS side, sell it, or just pull the plug.

I feel the same way. My disappointment with Fantasy Labs is mounting. The other day for the Monday 2 game NFL slate, the model had no QBs!!!! I couldn’t make any lineups generating with the model. I contacted customer service (used to be a live chat feature now just email) and they stated they knew there was an issue but DK and Fantasy Draft models work. I’ve been researching which site to subscribe to before pulling the plug on Labs. I’d use rotogrinders if i actually like the model; too bad i love everything else here. I may go to fantasy cruncher or get it with an Awesomeo full package. It’s seriously overdue. The labs product is absolutely horrendous, idk why i am still giving them $59.99 per month.

I’ve had to contact them many times (during this MLB season) about players not in the model, and stats not being updated for some players (just two of the most common reasons). When I would get a response it was similar to what they gave wafic. Hell, even if it’s a lie, a simple “we’re working on it, and we apologize for the inconvenience.” would be something at least.

It would be impossible for them not to know that there’s a pattern of problems that just keeps getting worse. It’s not a good look when customers that have been with a company for years are talking about leaving.

I kept telling myself it would get better once NFL started, now it actually seems worse. Thanks for all the input guys, it doesn’t look like these problems will be addressed (while the new ones will keep coming up). At least I have a bit of time to find something different before NBA starts.

Go look right now. All the Yahoo prices for NFL Thursday slate are incorrect. They have CMC at $46 when he’s $39 on Yahoo. Also noticed Carolina D is listed wrong. I’m sure there is more. That’s it. Cancelling.

Wow, you’re right. What the hell, did everybody leave after they sold to Chernin? If I didn’t know any better, I’d think they were letting it go on purpose. Next month will be the first time in about 4 years they won’t get my $60 either.
