    Hey Guys,

Anyone have experience with FantasyDraft support? Normally love the site, tournament sizes and quick withdrawls. But on Sunday they charged me for my monthly fee 20 plus times, leaving me short on cash, I contacted support right away and they have yet to rectify it. In addition they didn’t even leave my membership intact. Any ideas on how to get support to fix this. By this point I’d say I deserve a few free tickets too

I followed up on this and am told we responded to you on Sunday and again just now.

We apologize for the issue and have deposited $50 FantasyCash into your account for the inconvenience.

I can’t relate specifically to the issue you raise on account that I changed my membership to the free alternative when I decided to scale back my play on that site due to numerous problematic concerns including, but by no means limited to, their customer service. And until they make some necessary changes to their business model and daily operations I’ll be playing very little on that site if at all. As has been noted on this forum previously, their site 404’s at the most inopportune moments and their CAPTCHA, much like HAL from the movie 2001, tends to have a life of its own intent on trolling users before lock. When you bring this to the attention of Fantasy Draft they tend to shoot you back a boilerplate response and have even refused to refund your contest fees when problems have occurred.

Moreover, there is obviously mass collusion/multi-accounting/lineup-selling happening on the site — as the same lineups in the exact order are proliferating the 50/50’s at a rate far exceeding the average you find on the other DFS sites. For example, even on a large 10-game NBA slate tonight with very little in the way of value available, common sense dictates that ownership should be spread more evenly across the board and we should be seeing a greater variety of lineups. To the contrary, Fantasy Draft’s 100-contestant single-entry 50/50’s are all comprised of about four different lineups. This is on par with their 50/50 contests yesterday whereby the NBA slate consisted of only six games and there was more pay-down value available. And in that case, in your typical 100-person, single-entry 50/50 contests, 47 of the top 50 winning lineups all had one of only three lineups! See, e.g, here: https://www.fantasydraft.com/contest/1576673/ . On the other hand, on FanDuel, the top 50 lineups in their 100-contestant NBA 50/50 single-entry contests averaged between 15-23 different rosters. On DK, their 229-contestant NBA single-entry contests averaged between 44-58 different rosters. So there is no getting around the fact that there is something going on at Fantasy Draft that have essentially reduced 50/50 contests to top-heavy GPP’s. Perhaps their pricing makes the obvious plays really obvious. But that’s dubious at best considering the odds that the same DFS contestants would land on the same exact players every single day (let alone align those exact players in exactly the same order in their lineup) if it were merely a case of salary-related bias influence are so exceedingly astronomical that the thought of trying to calculate such possibility is an insult to everyone’s intelligence.

It’s too bad in that I used to play Fantasy Draft exclusively. But at this point, they appear to be replicating the same trajectory that Fantasy Aces emanated and we all know how that ended.

I haven’t had a single issue on the site and play there exclusively. I much prefer it to the other option.

The captcha is ridiculous. I mean, what’s the point? Do they really think that Russian bots are trying to infiltrate DFS sites? And if so, how come DK and FD don’t take the same cautionary measures? It seems innocuous enough, but there have been issues with capcha on other sites — so Fantasy Draft shouldn’t be surprised if eventually it causes problems on their site as well. It’s not worth pissing off DFS players over. Refunding them and helping them overcome the issue would be the smarter approach business-wise. The problem I have with it personally is that I have young children; which means, like so many other parents of young children, we’ve turned off images on the computers so that the kids aren’t seeing stuff on them they should not be. Well, now the captcha doesn’t work either. So just in order to log into Fantasy Draft, you have to go through this lengthy process to turn the images back on your computer — and even then you might have to refresh the page like eight different times to get the captcha to work. Thus after awhile it becomes an issue of whether it’s really worth it or not.

In an update on Day 5, I still have yet to be refunded over $300 in charges. My bank may be the cause for delay but I can’t be certain. Now I have a weekend getaway where I’ll be short on cash. They have made good to a degree with tickets and fantasycash. But this still should have never happened to begin with, this is a bad look FantasyDraft

We reversed the charges but it takes the banks time to process so that is out of our hands.

You are right is shouldn’t happen and we apologize for that.

Send me an email and I will make sure we help you out to address the shortfall while you wait for the bank.

this is a bad look FantasyDraft

So many times the issue is out of the sites hands. That last line really irked me as man, who wouldn’t want $50 in free fantasy cash given to them?

My advice, if you are that strapped on cash, playing DFS probably shouldn’t be your priority. But slamming the very site that is bending over trying to help is a ‘bad look’.

  • cgg716

The CEO Steve has taken steps to personally rectify this. When it’s done this post can come down and it will be great service by FantasyDraft

  • cgg716

I can respect your viewpoint, but 300 in repeat charges is a large mistake and ate away at my extra cash, particularly this time of year. I understand the part that’s out of their hands and appreciate the steps they have taken, but it’s still a large error

I won a prize in a freeroll for an autographed jersey about 3 weeks ago there and other than an email to verify my address haven’t seen anything.

Total noob here, so please forgive me if this should be posted elsewhere. I’m new to FantasyDraft and noticed there have been days with no contests on days with NHL games.
I’m a yahoo transplant; is there somewhere on the site that will let me know if there is a minimum number of games required to have contests for that day, or is the intention to have contests each day a game is played?

I’m really enjoying the site so far and hope to stick around for the long haul!
