    For those interested, here’s this story on Steven Plappert, co-founder and CFO now-defunct DFS site FantasyHub.

    Plappert is scum. I sincerely hope that he is never in a position to use others’ funds or run another business. Learning from an experience that failed is one thing; this experience should have taught him that he is ill-fit for the business world.

    My money’s on the reporter was a high school friend of all of them or something along those lines. Everything about that article (including the “journalism”) seems amateur at best, which falls right in line with these other idiots..

    I tried to reach out to the reporter on Twitter hoping he might do a follow-up story. He ignored me. His handle is

    @BFLouMarty

    Judging by his other stories posted on Twitter he’s not an investigative reporter he’s something like a business and commerce reporter. Sort of like what Darren Rovell does for ESPN. I don’t think he intended to write a story about what went wrong. His angle here was, “local start-up gets caught in crossfire.” I think he portrayed the exact message he intended even though it is incredibly tone deaf.

    Can we add “internet detective” under Seth’s avatar? Pretty soon we’ll be seeing you helping out Nev on catfish!

    if plappert and others want anything, it’s to make sure nothing negative appears in the search results for their name.

    ‘steve plappert’ returns the big RG thread regarding the issues and the DK bailout article, so that’s good at least. there’s a decent chance this story was intended to help cover those up.

    He’s everything that’s wrong with 2016. Man the F up. Disgusted. Probably took the remaining funds available to buy a pound of magical mushrooms for his hike, to dream up his next scam.

    Bradizpro was saying for Plappery and Co. to own up to their mistakes not the Grinders replying to this thread.

    We all know this article is a sham, and plappert is scum, but in reality what do we expect him to do?

    Own up to knowingly putting their player funds at risk and sabotaging the company? No upside there. DK saved him, time to play PR and move on.
