I agree Vitor is too cheap. Sure he has been getting smashed but this is a huge jump down in competition for him while a jump up for kelvin. Seems a great value

I just hope Dariush can last 3 rounds with a faster striker

Check out why I think Villante and Belfort might pull of an upset this weekend.

Awesome as usual! Love how honest you are about the Brazilian judges, lol.

And yes, I’m still sticking to 100% Kevin Lee, dude is way too good and will be a contender sooner than later (IMO).

    DONT JINX IT

I might be biased but I think Whittaker and KG are two best 185s

  • callmetouch

    Not bias just smart.

Soto in cash, Dariush in GPP

I think dariush is great in that moussasi type mold, but barboza has speed and cardio, dariush is so defensive I can see him getting dominated like MJ did to him and getting less than 20 points

  • callmetouch

90% of the outcome but hes so darn cheap fits in so many lineups

Interesting line movement since this morning…

Money coming in on Vito. He’s gone from +300 to +270.
Borrachinha continues to become a heavier favorite. Started morning at -280 and is at -310 now. (Distance prop also moved from +280 to +310)
Borg vs Formiga fight has flipped. Borg started the morning as slight +105 dog and is now -130 favorite.

  • callmetouch

Probably Cal putting K,s on vitor

  • jolokia

    HAHA! ^

The more I think about it, Gastelum was getting dominated in that first round vs Kennedy, but Kennedy gassed SO hard which played a big factor in Gastelum looking so dominant. Vitor is interesting, especially knowing that Gastelum should be 40~% owned.

  • callmetouch

I’d be lying if i said i dont have Dariush 100%

Yup! Southpaw vs Southpaw too. Belfort has gotten his highlight KOs on southpaws and has faired well against them throughout his career. Sure it was TRT Belfort but the point is the comfort level vs southpaws is there. Read my breakdown on this fight.

Don’t you worry cal, already have! Glad we’re on the same page with Borg and Lee. Excellent write up as usual

    Thanks bro!

Man! 7.7k left and I can’t decide who my last spot will be for cash

  • NewMike

How many lineups do you roster for cash? I usually just have 1 but once in awhile I have 2

  • beastmodecal

I just do 1 cash lineup for all my cash contests.

  • callmetouch

Am i the only one who feels good about this event? Said the same thing for 209 and that backfired

  • callmetouch

Is 100% Dariush in the 60k takedown too much Dariush?

  • jolokia

Depends on how many lineups you’re doing, lol. Ramos is a nice low owned pivot with TD upside.

I feel TOO good about this card, these judges are gonna break my heart tonight I can feel it.

  • afcangelo

Late to the party but here’s my take as I make my GPP and league lineups today

I think Kelvin Gastelum is one of the best up and coming fighters in the UFC. On the flip side, Vitor Belfort needs to be taken out to the cornfields and retired. The guy has nothing left, and it’s been evident for some time now. Gastelum is going to brutalize Belfort and it’s just sad to see tbh

For the price? I’m going to be very overweight on Gian Villante, he just makes too many rosters work at 7700, which is ridiculously cheap when you weight how likely it is that Shogun can get KO’ed. Both chins are suspect at best and either could knock the other one out but at 7700 I’m on the Villante train this week.

Tim Means scares the shit out of me. I was heavier on him in the first fight, but Alex has had time to prepare and it’s in Brazil. Also don’t forget that Means got knocked down before landing those brutal knees against the cage. 7200?? Do you even know what you can make work with a 7700 and a 7200?? I think Oliveira makes a lot of sense from a pure financial standpoint and then when you look at what’s RIGHT above Means, I just love Borrachina at 9.1

Which brings me to Borrachina. I’m not all in, but I’m real damn close. Relatively unknown fighter who is the 2nd highest ITD and 2nd highest win odds on the card. I think if you do like Means, it’s a good spot to pair him with Borrachina and save salary, but Gastelum, Borrachina and then Oliveira is SUCH a salary saver I just can’t get away from it. Throw in Villante at 7700 and you have the majority of my GPP core. Which brings me to where I’m all in

Kevin Lee. All in. Trinaldo does have a good kickboxing background but Kevin Lee is on another level right now with his wrestling. I just hope to god that Lee chooses to just slam Trinaldo down and advance advance advance instead of stand with him. Vegas doesn’t like a Lee finish (273) but I don’t even think that’s how he scores super high here. The longer the fight goes the more Trinaldo is going to gas and the easier the takedown is going to be. IMO Lee could land 7+ takedowns in this fight and score 10+ advances. With a decision that’s already nearly 100. All in. Kevin Lee and at only 8300

If I’m wrong, well it won’t be the first time but I love the spot

I need a Rony Jason KO or sub from the bottom. Think Kennedy could win, but no way he finishes IMO so I ended up with 60% Jason.

  • callmetouch

Good write up Angelo. I believe in karma and i believe lee is in for a beating sooner or later. Its tough

  • callmetouch

    95% Dariush,Paulo,Means,Prazhares with a mix of Villante,Lee,Soto,Borg,Ramos. GOODLUCK FELLAS
