Yup, look out Bernhard Langer….Stricker’s coming to steal your money.

He also looked pretty good at the Players and this is a similar mid-short iron course so it could play into his game.

The biggest problem I’m having this week is that I really don’t like anyone in the lower salary range this week (most weeks I can find a couple gems I like) and so it is making it really tough to play anyone up top. I might just end up honing in on a balanced lineup.

my highest paid golfer is 9200…. so i hope you go balanced and win all the monies cause i should be there with you

    Nah,

I caused enough trouble in the past. My opinions are known… Dont want to create trouble for the site. Curious if he LEFT the corp ? Moved on ? Etc… someone could IM me…
I understand a lot of this is about money, it is a business.

By the way, check out waterjet robotics…. Pretty amazing stuff, helping those guys out, headed to Canada next, Dubai cancelled…

  • TrustinthePlan

Loving the Stricker play here as well. Good course history and been playing decent as of late on the senior tour. This isn’t really a bombers course so he should do well this week.

Ha-ha… Not having the Google Doc is making life really difficult, but might give you an upper hand if you’re willing to do a little sleuthing of your own. He (@SmartGolfBets) had mentioned getting something together by the 20th on Twitter, but nothing yet.

In terms of the MOD, I think Jim just had trouble keeping up with it on the weekends, etc. He specifically referenced when his LUs were shitty and he still had to come moderate the forum and I completely get that. I don’t pay that much attention to golf or the forum when my ship is sunk before the weekend. Major tournaments are obviously different…

Is the cancellation of Net neutrality going to hurt RG in any way ?

Me either, I know someone else that wanted to be a mod, but maybe changed his mind. It is work and requires a very specific type of personality. Kind of “you think everything in the world is always OK, you always keep your opinions to yourself and think others should too” Except Golf, then there is limits allowed. tough job to do for free… That part requires you to always wanted to be a cop, but physical limitation or something else stepped in the way, bone spur in foot, etc. Plus, you have to be software techy… A lot to ask…

Yeah. Not sure I’d ever be willing to do something like that “free of charge” as it seems to require constant monitoring. I’m not sure how bad this PGA Forum though. I know he dinged me a few times, but it was fair. Otherwise, I think we’re pretty self-policing.

I always play Stricker. His tee 2 green game is always $$$. If he putts well he will T-10 easy

Probably not. I think it is more an excuse to charge end users more money.

This Forum Bad, no way, go to a Southern (FLORIDA) fishing forum. The Mods (several) work. People actually know each other, have competed with each other in Tournaments, been to parties with each other, stolen wives, and so on… Mix in the New Yorkers that move to Florida with the Uber Conservatives that live and operate in the rural area’s, gun laws, etc. It is a disaster. I helped for like a week 12 years ago. NEVER AGAIN !
They even got rid of their Political section and still, on and on it goes…

The majority of surface area in NY is rural conservatives. NYC rules the roost though. Just how population works I guess. Same in California

Yes, I guess so, seen it with Ohio this last few years, even Pennsylvania… Almost like if you are not within 30 miles of a Major Metro area you are now a Cowboy !

Attention…. Attention Please……Will the owner of the new Mod job please contact Quad.
He is in need of attention and would like to know just who you are. Quad is a good guy, He just misses a bi-monthly critic of what should or should not be relevant material to the thread.

    sorry, its just my humor

I will be rostering Adrian, he’s one of the guys I love this week. Mostly just trying to figure out the combos I love best.

  • Russell336

I cant decide which contests I would like to lose my money in this week. Max enter the $3 and 4 or a couple Doglegs and single entrees.

How do you feel about Matteo Manassero for a paltry $7K?? I got “Van Ruined” at the Volvo China Open (recency bias, I know) and it doesn’t look like he played this event last year. Matteo has consecutive T20 and was a T30 here last year. I’m not sure what combination of stats gives us “Ball Striking” based on the EURO stats, but that may be where I’m missing something.

Manassero did well a couple of weeks ago in the Sicilian Open and did better there on SG:OTT. Might be a decent cut-maker at that price, short hitter however. Manassero might be good in cash.
