    Did everyone kill these?

Haven’t seen any on DraftKings, FanDuel, or Fantasydraft in a while

  • yisman

I’m sure others have noticed, but DK got rid of their freerolls recently.

I almost never cashed in them anyway, but I often played them.

  • hautalak

Yeah idk why they would do that. Like you said I rarely cashed as well but the 2 times I did it helped my tiny BR a bit. Hopefully something else falls in place.

Edit: It also allowed me to play sports I normally would not.

If you check out their careers page, at DK they like to pamper themselves with in office manicures and pedicures and also play in their game room, have catered events, etc. They prob wanted to save a few bux for that stuff for themselves.

This isn’t unusual for companies to do this for their employees, I’m glad they treat them. I’m all for criticism when it’s deserved, but don’t knock them for trying to treat their employees well.

    Lol um yeah ok

Shitty they removed the freerolls. Won a few tickets that way experimenting with some different techniques and approaches. Doesnt cost them much and gives people a chance to win something without depositing. Bad decision but since they were the only ones offering them wont cause them to lose any players.

  • yisman

Yeah in the early days of fantasydraft they used to have freerolls too but they got rid of those a while back

DK was getting over 5,000 entries into even the hockey freerolls this month. Lots of interest.

  • California_Cool

I tweeted them about it, and they came back with, that they would have them “periodically”.

  • madmanjayWV

    I’ve noticed this as well.
Is there any ? who DK is targeting, not the regular JOE….sad…..

I have not seen freerolls since 5/14. https://www.draftkings.com/contest/gamecenter/40807451?uc=752517453

100 dollar prize pool with 6283 entrants.

also, DK used to give away a few tickets on social media once or twice a week

that’s gone too, although again, I didn’t win there either.

Maybe it’s a sign of a struggling company?

They’re going to merge with FD. They’re not struggling. They don’t have to appeal to the “average joe” anymore, FD/DK have cornered the DFS market. It’s all about bigger rake and bigger profits now. It sucks, but that’s capitalism.

Merger has been in the cards for a few months now.

DK is suddenly making all kinds of changes makes one wonder

mlb freeroll works on mobile(android) for draftkings. the option for freeroll is not available on desktop the last few days

The OP is talking about the real $ freerolls that DK has always offered, not the ones you create. They’ve discontinued them.

What happened to those Flash Saturday things they rolled out as part of the “new improved” player rewards program sham when they cut back the regular FPP’s earned per contest? They got rid of them some months ago and haven’t seen anything about them. Joke.
