Forecast for 9/22, updated at 5:25PM
BOS @ CIN – There is technically a chance for storms here, but radar and models both show the rain staying west of Cincy, and I expect it remains that way through the night. GREEN. Decently warm and humid, especially considering the time of year.
MIN @ DET – Decently warm and humid, solid hitting weather.
WASH @ NYM – Winds due north at 15mph sustained, that’s blowing in from left-center, and a boost for pitchers.
PHI @ ATL – Scattered pop-up storms. Very little movement to them, which means if a storm does manage to pop over the stadium, it could be a while before it rains itself out and we are back to baseball. While you never know exactly what to expect with pop-ups, the overall coverage isn’t too impressive, and barring some extraordinarily bad luck, this looks like more of a “potential delay” threat than anything else. YELLOW.
KC @ CWS – Warm and fairly humid. Little bump to hitters.
TEX @ OAK – Winds WNW at around 10mph, blowing out to right.
