The FSTA conference scheduled for January in Las Vegas will not be in Vegas.

They haven’t said if it will still happen and/or where.

Vegas casinos gonna lose SO much money with all DFS players not spending their wad there for Championships and conferences and general sports viewing. There were so many deals arranged with the Vegas casinos – DFS was really helping these establishments.

Don’t they understand that people don’t avoid Vegas to play DFS, they flock there to play DFS and bet while doing it!

    Shameful.

Ummmm No, Vegas was always and will always be fine.

I hope they bring it to DC or Atlantic City.

Or Texas – pretty sure we’d be fine with sports here. :)

I have no need to go to Las Vegas now, used to go 3-4 times per year.

That’s why Caesar’s group just claimed bankruptcy recently and most of the stocks of these companies are falling and falling because they are losing money… Only MGM is doing somewhat well.

This is a nice move and a chance to put the conference in a location accessible to all and in a DFS friendly location.

Prefer AC, only 45 minutes from Philly

Yep, it’s closer to NY and Boston and only a 2-3 hour drive for those of us in Baltimore and DC.

Why would any of you want this held at any casino when casinos are obviously a driving force behind this bullshit? Hello?

Although some are related to the ones in LV, when did the NJ casinos try to stop DFS in NJ?

Of the 8 remaining AC casinos only 2 are not owned by compaines with Nevada casinos. Do the math, its just a matter of time.

Easy math, hasn’t happened yet. Regardless, it’s a conference location near major hubs with a 1/3 to half the cost of staying in NYC.
