Star studded field, strongest outside of the majors and the players. Decent contests, but DK could have gone a little bigger considering the field.

COURSE: Riviera Country Club, 7,322 yards, par 71. From the days when Douglas Fairbanks and Charlie Chaplin graced its fairways, Riviera has commanded its own star power since first opening its doors in 1927. Designer George Thomas pored over 15 possible layouts before settling on one that now features some of the TOUR’s most iconic holes. The par-3 sixth is famed for its bunker in the middle of the green, and No.10 is widely considered the best drivable par-4 in golf. The Los Angeles Open first arrived in 1929, and Ben Hogan’s three wins in an 18-month span – two L.A. Opens and the 1948 U.S. Open – earned Riviera the nickname “Hogan’s Alley.” This summer, the U.S. Amateur arrives for the first time.

Last years winner: Bubba Watson -14

Cut last year was even par.

Even is safe now with Saunders just making bird unless he doubles 18

Perfect. 6/6 with 5/6 -1 or better with DJ…just Steele at E. Should be a fun couple days left!

Hopefully he makes some noise in Rd 3 and 4. Rough day today even with the made cut, scoring wise. sigh

  • Jamcclea

They just said on TV they plan to tee off 4:10pm and play hopefully 80 minutes before dark.

  • MattNielsen89

    Can’t wait to see 6/6 %

The closing 3 jack from 11 feet hurts less when he still makes cut.

  • Jamcclea

my girlfriend is getting pissed because I’m not leaving the couch and getting ready. I HAVE TO SEE 6/6 OK

  • walkoff9

Pga tour app showing half the guys at even below the cut line…weird

  • thetitanlb

I added up the approximate % owned of everyone missing the cut for the Dogleg and it’s about 185%. I doubt it’s over 7% who get 6/6 through

  • firemedicpat

WOW what a putt by Garrick to make it.
