Adam Scott is probably the most frustrating golfer to roster for me.

    Paul Casey: “hold my beer”

  • BIF

Casey stuffs it to inside 3ft on his 17th

Can he make this one ?

  • reeb

Can Casey bogey from 2’9”? He did it from 2’11: earlier.

    Just out of curiosity…

Why do any of you play DFS Golf? Is it not clear by now that it’s nothing more than picking numbers for the lottery?

There is ZERO statistical analysis that can be effectuated for predicting golf results. None.

At least in football when a tight end doesn’t blow it up vs. the Giants you can put a finger on the fact that his team jumped out to a lead and they did not have to throw the ball, or whatever. And in basketball if Andre Drummond doesn’t grab 15+ rebounds it’s probably due to the fact that the opposing team shot 65% from the field. What excuse does #1 in the World/Course Horse DJ have embarrassing himself like an amateur out there this week? How about Mr. “Strokes Gained” Paul Casey weed-hacking like the degenerates in the movie ‘Cool Hand Luke’ all tournament long? How did that happen? Recent form? Reavie looks like he’s having a nervous breakdown. What specifically can any DFS player point to in order to explain how Vegas favorites and chalk-meisters morphed into Adam Sandler out there? That they stayed up all night long watching hotel porn?

There is no way to explain it, which means it is completely random — and there is no profit to be made in completely random events.

In the meantime, nobody plays a far less volatile sport like hockey to the degree that this site does not even bother with it. Pity. If you want to know why DFS is destined to go belly up one need not look any further than those who play it insisting on trying to force a square peg into a round hole. More sooner than later are people going to realize that not only is the peg not going to work, but also that they can no longer feel their hand from pounding on it so hard and for so long trying to make it work.

Well Kuchar and Hoffman and likely Bae are all gonna make it in the number so that is about 30-40% ownership that got saved

I just wanted to stop back and apologize to everyone, especially lfn1992, for being a straight douche last night. You didn’t deserve that, man. It’s no excuse, but I let personal issues and frustrations get the better of me and took it out on you. You were right, whodat, I was being a dick. I don’t expect to be forgiven, but I owed all of you an apology. Your blogs picks were, and always are, spot on lfn1992 so keep doing what you do. I’ll go back on self-imposed ban, but wanted to attempt to clear the air. Good luck, this weekend fellas. After all the birdies fests early in the year, it’s nice to see these guys finally be challenged though it might not be great for my wallet. Be well…

No worries, mate. I know everyone gets those type of days. Keep posting and it’s water under the bridge to me.

You’re gonna make a lot of people angry. I agree with you 100% but still love pga dfs. This year has been absolutely awful for me in dfs golf though so far. Incredibly random and impossible to predict.
