It’s KJ Choi week – never worse than a 33rd place finish and a perfect 12/12 in made cuts the last 12 years with 4 Top 10’s. All that and I’m sure he’ll be $7200 or less.

It’s actually Korean week…😉 Many courses in Korea feature kikuyu grass which is what we see at Riviera and they have plenty of experience playing on it. Bae, Kang and Si Woo all in play.

Since tiger is well known I doubt it would qualify as a TP JR

Can’t wait to see the 10200 tiger woods price tag LOL. Gonna make picking a team difficult

I’m sure DK will throw him out at like $7900 and Finau will be $7100 with their weighted course history algorithm.

Si Woo has missed the cut his only two times here, that being said if he comes out and wins would anyone really be shocked.

Bae also coming off a T15 at Pebble. His best finish of the year so far.

He has played twice, each year he has a good round and then a bad round. He is now healthy and more consistent as he has made 8/9 cuts in 2018. Scoring wise this is a Si Woo course as -8 to -10 will get you a good finishing place. If he is priced right and his ownership stays under 5% I will be on him.

I may own 10% Bae this week, 8th, 12th and 8th at this place. I played him at Farmers as he had solid course history, I ended up being just a little to early. He was .30% owned that week. Even with a 15th this week I don’t think he gets over 1% as most will just say he got lucky since he missed 5/6 cuts. Bae was a very good golfer before he went on his military duty placing in the T10 five times with a win in 2015.

Tiger has little Course History (last played in 2006 and WD then) so should be $8200 or less but will prob be $9100

And do you think his 9700 price tag last time was logical?

  • dangasin

BIF, you in on the TW heads up again this week?

Not really but this is a stronger field with a bunch of the top international players here as well (minus Rahm and Day). Tiger does not deserve to be priced more expensive than the 10th highest salary. Ahead of him “should” be:
DJ, Spieth, JT, Rory, Casey, Noren, Fleetwood, Pieters and Phil – all top tier players with good recent form and/or good course history but where Tiger ends up being priced is up to DK.

I like Tiger even less this week than I did at Torrey because at Torrey he had great history – here it was ok at the turn of the century but zero wins and no appearances since a 2006 WD does not get me excited regardless of price.

Plus, he’s been playing pretty solid lately with Fluff on the bag. Worth a look this week.

Knowing that I’ll be playing Tiger in every event he’s in this year is hilarious. I’d rather lose $ with Tiger on my team than not play him.

Hopefully Bubba is 7100 this week so we can get a highly-owned MC

Happy Meal Cup standings have been updated. LFN1992 moved into the Top 5 this week.
