Just a FYI for anybody on here who listens to tout picks. STLCards from this site on the Expert Survey put his must play stud in tournaments as Dustin Johnson. Guess how much DJ he has in the $44, $444, and $1500 DK tournaments? Zero.

This was an error in the survey posting this week.

In our document, I have DJ listed as my must play stud in CASH. I have Grace listed as my must play stud in TOURNAMENTS. DJ accidentally got posted in both spots.

Proof here, straight from the Google sheet that we fill out: https://s3.amazonaws.com/rical-misc/STLCardsSurvey

I liked DJ a lot (obviously), but the GPP fade was strictly an ownership play once I knew how highly owned he was going to be. I played him in 100% of the cash contests that I entered.

I have a track record of playing virtually every pick from my Foursome videos every week, and I usually play 7 or 8 of the GPP plays that I write up. I played eight of them this week, only fading what was clearly the most obvious play on the board just because of our projected ownership.

I should have included a blurb stating how it might be wise to fade DJ based on that ownership. That part is my mistake, and I apologize for that.

Indeed. Just watch Wolf of Wall Street if you need a reminder of the legality of selling stuff that they don’t personally invest in.

I wonder if action can be taken against the guy who said to pick DJ. Are there any disclaimers? I would ask for a refund.

DJ is the top player in this field and better than anyone at the top of the leaderboard. By this logic you can argue that fading any player today was the play to make due to the course conditions.

DJ just had a bad round.. because ya know. Golf is high variance and… hard and shit.

He had one bad hole. If you’re freaking out, this isn’t for you. He hung a 7 on a par 4? It happens. I’ll be back to tilt come cut time tomorrow 🤦🏼‍♂️

EDIT: I don’t subscribe so have no frame of reference. I like to lose money on my own accord.

Same here…jmtowin is worth the price of admission.

You like him, I don’t. He’s a professional gambler with a con, and to me his narrative is a cover for his con.

Having one bad hole is not good when I have 19/20 of him. And he only played even the other 17 holes. That is awful for him especially at his price.

Yeah, but everyone knew he was the best play in a vacuum. it’s a game theory play.

This is what your going to get when you pay a site that in turn employs a lot of people to provide content. Most are not going to constantly update with their thought process and if they are going to make a strategic fade.

If he’s running his own site and providing content there, then i would expect an update simply saying what his intentions are, but that is not the case.

The biggest issue id have is whoever edits the content for not having his correct tournament must play listed.

Hey Jam, although my h2h team does not have him, I am sweatin Ollie with you tomorrow

Listen man I really respect you as a grinder (you literally won the $33 the other week) but 2 things:

    1) You wrote up DJ as your favorite play in your GPP article, had him in the fantasy foursome, and it was under the Expert Survey. You proceeded to play zero of him in GPPs. That is a fact.

    2) In the finance world, I can’t just tell my clients “oh sorry my email said one thing but another got posted.” You need to do better quality control, or you’re lying. The optics are not good.

Again, I faded DJ completely myself. But this rubs me the wrong way.

Afternoon played tougher? I feel like the AM group comes back a bit tomorrow. Be patient, but I’ll join the tilt table come cut time tomorrow

He does not run the site though, as far as the expert survey screw up. Thats on rotogrinders.

    1) The Fantasy Foursome is not geared toward GPP’s. DJ was far and away the top overall play, and that guy will always get my endorsement in that video. That is not an error.

    2) The Quality Control in the Expert Survey is already being addressed.

    3) I should have added to the DJ blurb in the GPP article that a game theory fade might be advisable based on projected ownership. That was my fault. It’s difficult when writing on Monday night and finalizing lineups on Thursday morning to do that 100% of the time.

I get that things like this tend to look bad, but there was no malicious intent here. If DJ shoots -6, nobody is talking about it.

I have one of the strongest track records here of playing my picks. Check the value plays in my lineups compared to my surveys and articles – they’re lock step with what I wrote up (Moore, Laird, Howell, etc…)
