    Triangle or McCarthy?

I don’t have any of either. But I’m thinking about Denny McCarthy. Obviously his course history isn’t good: first appeared last year, got bounced right out. But most of McCarthy’s course history was bad before the 2019-2020 season started. Maybe he’s a young guy who just figured out to compete in the PGA?

I told myself that I would avoid all first-timers here, but a $7k EvR at sub-5% ownership is really tempting.

Keegan Bradley is loving the course this week as he plays better here when it’s dry and fast.

I wish you didn’t post this!

Now I am going insane, I already was tempted to take Keegan but I really should know better at this point.. Would definitely be less chalky than Noren though, that’s for sure..

    Decisions decisions.

Is Keegan better on poa because his putting stats overall are abysmal. He checks out fairly well in the other categories.

Better question is how has he fared SG putting in this event over the last 24 rounds?

as of now Ortiz is only 7-9% owned- I wouldn’t call it chalky until he hits 12% or >

when you move that far down the salary chart…..
    7-9% is very chalky.IMHO

when the event goes live I look at who’s ownership at what price level stands out and I would think 8% at the 6800 salary range is 2-3x bigger than the others.

Edit: sorry for chiming in, others have said similar.

    Triangle or McCarthy?

Triangle is a FADE for me, too Chalkie this week, Triangle is playable in Cash Games but it’s ceiling isn’t high enough for tournaments. I like Rhombus, Kite and Trapezoid for tournaments, I also like the pivot off of Triangle to Scalene Triangle. For Cash games go ahead and take your Free Square by playing Circle, Triangle, Rectangle and Square. Chalk of the week will be Heart, don’t fall for the narrative. I say all this to say, definitely play McCarthy over Triangle, i’ve never seen a Triangle hit a golf ball.. I have seen a Kite hit a golf ball. I miss Tom Kite.

He has some good finishes here, a runner up, 4th place and a couple top 20s. My worry is I don’t know if he got those back in the cheater putter days. Nothing that great here as of late though.

Will be real frustrating if I see him getting par on the holes that you just have to birdie as the rest of the field will be. His recent form is pretty decent, in the end it really is all about the flat stick.

Hes one of those guys who are traditionally strong 450-500 par 4 but are among the worst on the tour this season with what I imagine is a small sample size. I think he was around 180 in 2020 but it might not be that relevant.

Currently have him in my single bullet. Had Conners originally but I’ll take the lower ownership on EVR this week.

    HARRUMPH

Gee I’m a tree will never trump calculus, Mister Stacks. According to my calculations, the second derivative solutions are integral to this process. I hope your mind is not Frittellied by these words.

I like Tringale. He seems to check a lot of boxes for me. In the builds I need one 6500 type player he is the one I seem to be landing on.

I have me some EVR. I want in early.

Didn’t mean to do it but I have 3/4th’s of my player pool in the AM/PM wave. Hope that ends up being a good weather draw!

I am not seeing a real advantage either way, but am also no weather girl.
