Man I’m pumped. Any advice on LU construction for that 120 man tournament? Go for a solid cash type lineup and hope to get 50K or try a “go big or go home” LU that’ll finish 1st or dead last?

Go for it. 1 in 120 chance at $3M, 1 in 40 chance at $1M.

That’s what I’m thinking. Sucks only having one entry in it though haha. If a boom or bust guy busts, at least I’ll walk out with 20K minimum

  • Aalbanese102089

    That’s awesome, good luck!

  • einars

    congrats man!! thats awesome!

  • einars

Its only 120 ppl so you dont have to go too crazy. just make a normal single entry gpp lineup.

  • cccalloway

Lol. Go for it. You don’t need to go as contrarian as a milly maker field but don’t make a cash lineup. You got a shot at $3M. Go for that, not $50k. Good luck.

I think a lot of people in similarly sized tournaments try to get too tricky and overlook obvious plays or go for deep sleepers just to be different. My advice would be to do the kinds of things that increase your variance (paring QB/WR or RB/DEF, getting several players from a game you think will be high-scoring, going for upside over floor, etc.) but remember to win you’ve got to score the most points, not be the most different.

In other words, my plan would be to put together a lineup that I think will score a lot of points rather than a lineup that could really be huge if a few unlikely things happen.

thanks guys. I guess I’ll use the same process I used this week lol. Got 29th in the milli maker with the same LU. I’ve played these big shots plenty in H2H and tend to lose more often than not to them though

Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken… Good luck sir!

While many of us here likely go back and forth on LU decisions weekly, I can’t imagine how indecisive I would be with a WFFC ticket. GL!!!!

Come back and put a post together about how/why you decided on the LU you end up submitting.

    Congrats sir! That’s incredible

We need to get an EScot reply in here. – Do what he did, and find the “”(player-popup)Jeremy Hill”:/players/jeremy-hill-18042” of the tournament :-) —- (he was a relatively chalky play, but Scott wound up being the only finalist to actually use him…and it paid off very handsomely)

See you there! I hope they decide where there is soon since I’ll be buying my wife a plane ticket too and we’re coming from Hawaii so that’s not cheap haha. This wait is a killer. I wish I would’ve qualified week 12 or so
