Man I’m pumped. Any advice on LU construction for that 120 man tournament? Go for a solid cash type lineup and hope to get 50K or try a “go big or go home” LU that’ll finish 1st or dead last?
I think a lot of people in similarly sized tournaments try to get too tricky and overlook obvious plays or go for deep sleepers just to be different. My advice would be to do the kinds of things that increase your variance (paring QB/WR or RB/DEF, getting several players from a game you think will be high-scoring, going for upside over floor, etc.) but remember to win you’ve got to score the most points, not be the most different.
In other words, my plan would be to put together a lineup that I think will score a lot of points rather than a lineup that could really be huge if a few unlikely things happen.
While many of us here likely go back and forth on LU decisions weekly, I can’t imagine how much I indecisive I would be with a WFFC ticket. GL!!!!
Come back and put a post together about how/why you decided on the LU you end up submitting.
This. Would love to hear about thought processes after all is said and done, no matter what the outcome! Good luck and congrats!
Congrats sir! That’s incredible
We need to get an EScot reply in here. – Do what he did, and find the “”(player-popup)Jeremy Hill”:/players/jeremy-hill-18042” of the tournament :-) —- (he was a relatively chalky play, but Scott wound up being the only finalist to actually use him…and it paid off very handsomely)
