    Hi everyone,

Wanted to wrap up 2019 in style – and talk about a free-to-play contest we ran this year, which was (probably!) the world’s largest Survivor pool.

A little under 400,000 people entered in Week 1 and yesterday, 173 people took home $1,445.09 each for their remarkable achievement.

Happy New Year to them, and to you, and thanks for making 2018 such a fun year! We’ve got a lot in store for you in 2019.

Happy New Year to you as well. Any plans to drop that stupid drop the score format in 2019. Looks like a lot of your customers want it. Many of us are moving most of our action to Yahoo and DK as a result. https://twitter.com/FanDuel/status/1079905045100089346

Why, are you a pro? It just gives more edge to the pros who have computer algo’s telling them which position and player to punt. Drop the score does not help with late scratches, unless the guy scratched is the guy you planned to drop anyway. It also penalizes you for picking a good lineup with your nine players. Lets say my 9 players score 370, and my lowest is a 25. That takes me down to 345. Lets say you have nine players, and also score 370, but your lowest is a 15. You beat me because you picked a worse player. Just a stupid format.

Love the “drop a score” format also, but please make your $4 / $4.44 tournament larger daily and flatten the top payout structure.

Explain to me how drop a score has improved your DFS experience. I can’t see one good reason for it unless you just love playing stars and scrubs every night.

This is wrong on so many levels.
