There has to be story about this. No way does he purposely enter 2 teams 5 times into a top heavy pay out Q.

My guess is he was in a scramble to get Joique Bell in at the last minute, exported to a lot of his teams, and then didn’t have time to fix them?

I agree though, no way he did that on purpose. Certainly worked out though, well done Noto!

Because he is Notorious…practicality does not apply!

I think you nailed it. He was scrambling while everyone else was snoozing.

As an aside, I love taking a look at winning player’s rosters, and I think you can take a lot away from Noto’s lineup.

He had 6 out of 10 guys that he clearly loved this week, and he kept that core on both teams while swapping out the other 4 spots on his alternate lineup.

I’m not sure how much he normally varies his lineups or if he first picks players he likes and then decides what sites to use them on, but I think it’s a very good strategy with large GPPs like this.

Thanks guys, what a crazy Sunday!

Cruzin hit it on the head, I had all of my different lineups set across the site and I saw that Bush got hurt in warmups so I was scrambling to get Bell into my cash games. I ended up exporting that team over all of my leagues except for the 420 qualifier and by the time I realized I copied over my 22 qualifier teams, I only had time to get one other lineup in there. Was really scared that I had so much exposure to that single lineup but it ended up working out for me.

But to answer your other question, I think using the same core of players in large GPP’s is a great strategy. I’ve learned this from the best in the business and Chop is the king of it. If your core group of players goes off, you have quite a few different lineups that will be in the money.

…and I’m thankful that you didn’t export it to the $420 Q!! I still have a chance in that one!

You got a good shot in that Tip. You & Birdwings looking like the favorites. Love that a couple more Grinders may have a shot at the million.

    Agreed.

    After a quick search…from the current field of 39 ($420 Q pending):

    1) There are 5 of the 10 top ten-ranked Grinders already qualified.

    2) 19 of the entries belong to guys in the top 100 overall ranked Grinders.

    3) 21 of the entries belong to guys ranked in the top 100 of NFL.

These stats don’t include non-Grinders, but it’s worth mentioning that RickMilitar and SalCaps each have 2 seats! …and you know that Chop & Tuttle aren’t going to put up 2 stinkers in back-to-back weeks!

that is one of the worst beats I’ve seen . That was in the bag heading into tonight. McCown just dropped 5 TDs in 3 quarters and Forte came off the bench to cap it off. Ugh. Sorry buddy
