Just curious, now that I’m doing well at cash games for MLB, I am upping my stakes and going back to my BR management style.

However, I’m not quite sure how to handle today’s games? Do I split my allotted amount between the two slates or act like it’s two different days?

Just curious what others out there do.

(This really only applies to people who have a set amount they intend on entering)

    Thanks!

Either approach is fine, personally I treat it as if it’s a different day.

If I’m playing the early slate and late slate I treat it as two separate days.

On the other hand, if I’m playing the all-day slate and late slate, there’s a very good chance I will use the same pitcher for both lineups, and so when that happens I treat it as one day and split one day’s entry fees between the all-day and late.

Each session is its own day, so my standard 7-8% per session. Only time I might taper that back is if I play turbos or late nights on FD with exposure to the same players across two different slates. It makes it too much of a boom or bust having the same pitcher for the All day and Late session.

depends on research time. if you’re confident that you can get your proper research time for both slates in, then treat each one like its own day. I tend to not have time to do enough late slate research when there’s an early slate, so i put my full volume in the early slate (if i have time) or if the morning is busy, then i just play a small amount in the early and full volume in the late.

but ideally, if i had the time, i’d treat each slate as its own different day

+1 to hambazaza. This is the perfect opportunity to put a lot of research on the early slate and then take the night off to enjoy the NBA playoffs :)

Light the dollar bills on fire! With the pitching much better in the morning and the hitting much better in the evening, probably will do some all-day on DK.

Hambazaza nailed it though for MLB.

For NFL H2H, I treat each game slate as its own “day” Thu-Mon, Sun-only, Sun-Mon get full day consideration, Sun-early and Sun-Mon late would get partial consideration (mostly because there is a lot of overlap both in the contests and also in the players I am considering)

    Ditto. Well said Hambazaza
