Once rake in GPP went to the 15 percent level on most all contest at $25 and under i have played more 3 man. 50/50 which they are slowly trying to eliminate. I also choose 1 single entry high dollar game per week to play and then i play about 25 h2h per day.

    How about you

Although i like to stop in here and see whats happening in the DFS world from time to time, I stopped playing the last week of June. With increased rakes, selling of lineups, and all subscriptions i was paying for to gather info needed to make wise playing decisions, it just seemed like a losing battle. It almost seems like unless you have a 70% win rate, you couldn’t even break even.
For me, DFS is a thing of the past. I enjoyed it while it was fun, but as with anything, once the fun is gone in it, so am I.

    Good luck to you

I’m still profitable doing what I do, so rake has not changed my play habits any.

I’m not getting rich, but I’m slowly increasing my little bankroll.

I used to play about $4-5k a night during NBA season across all the sites. The increased rake, additional time needed to win, lack of bonuses/VIP rewards, tougher competition and giving up cash games now means I’ll play about $1k a night during NBA season.

I stopped playing PGA and MLB entirely as it’s no longer worthwhile for me. I’m in this to make money and not just to have fun. About 60-70% of my play has switched to Yaho0/FantasyDraft/FantasyAces from the Big 2 as they are much better with bonuses and lower rake.

The rake has not had nearly the impact on my playing habits as the struggle to avoid multiple high volume players has. I’m a low stakes guy who has never played a high volume so I never have cared much about rake. My main frustration has been the struggle to find games (from 50/50’s to 100 man leagues) that are not filled with a larger proportion of highly skilled players.

I’m well aware that even though I’ve been playing for a while, I have much more in common with the Joe Nobody’s of the world than the ChipotleAddict’s, and I’d prefer to test my skill against similarly skilled players.

I have cut back my entries by about 75% due to increased rake. Getting hard to invest the time knowing the rake is nearly impossible to beat and other players are allowed to break the entry limit rules via collusion.

To Tgowen and Bighouse—-Try playing on the smaller sites—-less rake

I will not play any 15% games if you keep playing it they will keep going up

This is pretty much my take on this too. I’ve got all my action in the FD Quintuple Ups this week.
