Nothing more…carry on with your day.

I think a lot of it is just nostalgia for the early days of DFS. At the time DFS was still very much a niche activity and DraftStreet was a small community of the most hardcore players. It built up a lot of camaraderie and created fond memories which many former players still have to this day.

Player salaries, roster format, scoring, rake structure, rewards, payout structures, game offerings, entry limits and pretty much everything they did was revolutionary and to this day was probably the best run site ever. They explicitly catered to the more advanced fantasy player, not the recreational player, and had a dedicated player base they were dedicated to growing organically. Unfortunately, it turns out that perhaps that wasn’t the right strategy, particular at a time when private equity money was driving massive growth.

If DS was still around it would be crushing these other 2 sites.

By far the best DFS site.

we need congress to pass a law forcing them to bring back DraftStreet

Everyone misses DS. It was the best site ever period. I thought Fantasy Feud and DraftDay tried to pick up where DS left off, but it wasn’t the same. The chatroom was awesome. I emailed DK after they bought DS and told them they should implement a lot of the DS features but I got generic replies so I knew they were just going to bury it. Hopefully someone will create a fun, interactive platform like DS. These sites are so generic now….

could not beat the customer service on DS. they would answer questions like you were a valued customer. the other sites just seem to get pissed off if you ask something , so people stop asking and stop playing.

the chat was fun, and it kept people on the site during the games.

they also had games where you could get a few credits and play a game or 2 for free, or buy a tshirt, silly little stuff like that made them more customer oriented and made the players loyal.

i doubt any new sites are coming anytime soon.
