I’m primarily a PGA/MLB/NBA guy, and every year around this time NFL talk starts to really pick up. And every year I’m tempted to learn and really dig deep into it, but I’ve always decided to just stay away because I don’t want to spread myself too thin. I’d rather just play out the rest of the MLB regular season and start getting prepared for NBA in September. There’s only a ~3 week gap in between the end of MLB reg. season and the start of NBA, so I’m essentially playing year-round.

    Anyone else like this?

I know some people can crush every sport but I do better by just putting all my time and work into 2 major sports. This also helps in not burning out, and is more profitable for me.

I’m going full time, and I plan to do it by playing NFL and NBA only. I don’t know jack about baseball.

I play NFL but I definitely don’t dig in as hard as I do for MLB and NBA. It’s closer to a hobby for me than the other two

    NFL and MLB mostly.

Golf for fun- 4 days for one weekend entry.

But NBA kills me- how can you predict coaches decisions, last minute starter changes, and guys picking up fouls ? Very difficult for me.

I have another job (though I made a job’s worth of income last year playing DFS) so I guess I don’t count as full-time, but I don’t play MLB at all (except for occasionally playing promos).

I’m same as you; full time NBA/MLB only. I’m usually too hungover Sunday mornings to keep up with NFL.

HAHA! Me too! I’ll put a ton of entries into huge DUs early in the week, have my cash lineup down, with the intention of playing, like, 50 3-mans and 50 H2Hs. But, maybe, I play ten because by the time I’ve caught up on injuries and scratches, it’s five minutes to lock.

I would think NFL would be more profitable for pros. You get so much casual action. NBA and MLB does not get nearly as much, especially in the 2nd half of the seasons.

People say this, but I beg to differ. At the microstakes, where I play, there are months where NBA is the only thing to play and there is a ton of casual action. Even MLB and NFL pros just dabble for action, scoop games and play shit.
