I am not the best DFS player but I do enjoy playing every day, however I am in such a huge downswing now that it seems impossible to get out of this rut. I find myself not even breaking the 100 point mark on DK almost daily more often than not. I can’t even count how many times I pick the “can’t miss” guy and he goes 0-4, or the “can’t miss” pitcher gets single or negative points. It’s very frustrating obviously. Is there any advice anybody would like to share? How do you construct your rosters? I’ve tried all one offs, 5-3 stacks, 4-4 stacks, and just about everything in between. I appreciate any and all comments. Thanks

What really changed my game is reading articles in rotoacademy by JMToWin. Reading some of the articles in rotoacademy might help you change a bit to be more successful.

Like most have said I’m glad to see I’m not alone! This baseball season has become extremely frustrating/depressing but I love DFS too much to stop…I’m glad the all star break is here so I can have a few days off but once Friday comes it’ll be right back to the grind. I’ve had a tough year playing in GPP’s and even my best nights I may only profit around $20-50 depending. I think you have to trust your process (shout to 76er fans) and continue going at it. There is no exact science to this and there is so much variance. My problem has been getting too excited to make lineups that I make them before they are even out and then once the lineups come out I make little changes that end up costing me. What I have found is just reserve your entry into a contest and then wait until about 2 hours before lock to enter your lineups, depending how many you are making so you have plenty of time. I know your pain and wish you luck!

Taking time off may be what works. I was best man in my cousins wedding and one promise I made was that I wouldn’t be messing around with fantasy sports at the wedding. Went 3 days without it, came back Sunday and had a solid day! Looking to continue the success after this break.

Don’t be afraid to try out Yahoo/Fantasydraft if you are slumping. These sites generally have less sharks and Fantasydraft has rake free h2h’s and less rake overall.

But MLB, thats a whole different animal. Its like basketball is a 500 piece puzzle, and baseball is like a 5000 piece puzzle.

    Great analogy
