Skinsfanforever joined RG back in 2014 She was very active in RG chat and was always fun to talk to. Her real name was Jodi Hiltbrand Williams, in 2015 Jodi told me and users that were in chat at that time that she was diagnosed with cancer, I was very sad but and the same time very optimistic that she was going to beat cancer, she was always on the positive side and never showed any signs of defeat. Early this season she showed up in the chat like nothing was happening, i asked very politely “how’s everything skins?” I dint ask her directly about her diagnosis as i didn’t want to bring back the diagnosed talk, she told me that she was doing fine, i decided not to do a follow-up question about her health and decided to talked sports and DFS, Now i realized that she came here to ease her mind and spirit. At the time she didn’t showed any sign of defeat, she showed a positive attitude during our chat.

Two weeks ago i received a PM from her daughter (skins and i chatted over DFS plays and NFL in general) “Hey I know you don’t know who I am but my name is Candace and I am the daughter of skinsfanforever. I know she talks to you on here and I don’t know if she has explained her cancer situation with you or not, but unfortunately, the doctors have found more but she will be undergoing more radiation treatment this weekand” I was very sad but thought she was going to defeat this terrible decease.

I received an email today staying that skinfansforever died this week

Skinsfansforever: Thanks for the time we spent in the chat, i hope that you are talking sports in heaven(specially NFL and your beloved redskins) like you did here in this world. You will always be remembered and my prayers are with your family..

If you want to write about any fun chat or moment you had with skinsfanforever please do so here.

RIP for sure. I don’t believe I’ve ever met her in chat but it’s always sad losing one of the good ones, especially someone from our community.

This is terrible news. I had been in frequent email correspondence with her up until September about what was going on with her health and life in general. She was a very nice, sweet, caring person and will be missed by many. RIP

  • KindGuy

I never got the chance to meet her but she seems like a very strong and outgoing person. RIP.

Jodi was a great lady. She and I always joked about being the old ones that possessed Wisdom. I will miss her and help support the GoFund goal. Sad to see this horrible disease take one of our Grinders. Let’s show her family that Grinders will always take care of Grinders! Godspeed all and remember each day is a blessing.

My thoughts are with her and her family. I lost my Mom to cancer. It is indeed a bitch.

Skins was such a wonderful sweet girl. Always enjoyed conversing with her. She was a one of a kind. You will be missed. May you rest in peace! My heart and prayers go out to your family.

It’s always sad to hear of the passing of one of our own. I recall a very spirited debate with her where she insisted I underrated Brian Orakpo as a pass rusher. My sympathies to her friends and family.

She was a great RG chat member and I talked with her about her struggle and love for the Redskins. I loaded up Kirk Cousins one week in her honor. She was a great contributor and always positive. Her love for sports and the DFS community was very evident. RIP Skins
