In the interest of allowing all players to make use of the new rules regarding “script” automation, we’ve got our first-draft, automation tool ready to be demo’ed by anyone interested in bulk entering lineups on DraftKings. This first iteration tool supports importing a CSV into the DraftKings “My Lineups” page. We have plans to allow the entering of lineups directly into contests and plans to allow the editing of a set of lineups you have already entered. Everyone give a big virtual high-five to @nicslim for his work on this.
To get started Install the chrome extension here
A Firefox extension is coming soon as well, but still has to go through the review process.
UPDATE: Our Firefox extension is still not approved, but for any of you that want to try this extension out in Firefox, you can go ahead and install it at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rotogrinders-draftkings-tools/, you’ll just see a short warning that the extension has not yet been approved by Firefox.
The following video gives a complete walkthrough for how this extension works.
Thanks, guys, and let us know what you think!
A few other tidbits:
- We also plan on releasing a FanDuel version of this extension to facilitate the bulk entering of lineups. This extension will end up a bit different since FanDuel doesn’t currently allow bulk editing of lineups.
- We’ve added an “Export to CSV” option to our DraftKings Lineup Builder Tool. This button will allow you to “heart-select” your favorite lineups and export them to CSV for use in this extension. We have a lot of ideas for improvements for our Lineup Builder that will let people construct teams in a variety of different ways, and this export option will come in handy for any teams you’d like to bulk enter.
