In the interest of allowing all players to make use of the new rules regarding “script” automation, we’ve got our first-draft, automation tool ready to be demo’ed by anyone interested in bulk entering lineups on DraftKings. This first iteration tool supports importing a CSV into the DraftKings “My Lineups” page. We have plans to allow the entering of lineups directly into contests and plans to allow the editing of a set of lineups you have already entered. Everyone give a big virtual high-five to @nicslim for his work on this.
To get started Install the RotoGrinders DraftKings chrome extension here
A Firefox extension is coming soon as well, but still has to go through the review process.UPDATE: Our Firefox extension is still not approved, but for any of you that want to try this extension out in Firefox, you can go ahead and install it at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rotogrinders-draftkings-tools/, you’ll just see a short warning that the extension has not yet been approved by Firefox.
The following video gives a complete walkthrough for how this extension works.
Thanks, guys, and let us know what you think!
A few other tidbits:
Please Separate it from the incentives, akin to the new videos, where you pay for the script and have access to just that for fanduel and draftkings.

NASCAR works just fine, guessing the same for PGA.
Also, had 21 lineups I thought were unique. Ended up being 19 unique lineups. If you have replicates, it still puts in just the unique lineups. No faults.
Sounds like this won’t be freely available to all once it’s out of demo mode, though. I understand why RG would want to charge for this tool, but don’t get why players would want it put behind a paywall. Is it just the fear that too many people mass entering will slow the system down, like one person said, or is it something else?
It seems like once this tool goes behind a paywall, the playing field will cease to be even…but instead of all the players who can’t write/don’t have scripts being at a disadvantage, it will only be the players who can’t afford to pay for this tool who are disadvantaged. How is that better?
Thanks for all your hard work, but I’m going to need to a more thorough walk through if possible. I multi enter daily. So, this tool sounds great, but im having trouble following. If theres any help to be had please let me know.

I personally would like to see RG have this as a $15,000/month subscription.
I would think If someone can afford to multi-entry daily they can afford the tool.
With your name, I would have thought you had your own bad ass script. :)

Don’t bind me to any of the following (we may change our minds about this), but current plans are to leave any of the bulk import/bulk edit parts of this tool that interface with DK or FD free for everyone. Giving everyone an equal opportunity to make use of new rules is a big reason we’ve released this extension. The sites, themselves, may even offer this sort of functionality eventually.
Providing people different ways of creating the CSV’s (through Lineup Builder) is where we are more likely to introduce a paywall. In fact, we already do this to some extent—you have to be an incentives member to use your own projections in Lineup Builder. But we’re going to add more options—the ability to control exposure percentages in lineups output by the Builder, the ability to favor stacking, the ability to use your own projections based on weighted components, etc. (i.e. tools that help you build multiple lineups, something that was never disallowed by the sites)—these are features you may see an upcharge for.
see putz? maybe my analysis of peoples reaction isnt way off base…here we go again.
Tinkering with it today. Threw 27 bullets at the $1 Solo shot on DK. Simply took 8 team stacks + 2 stud pitchers and hit shuffle from the lineup builder. Once the data and lineups are in, the rest takes minutes. Almost stupid easy once you wrap your arms around the .csv stuff.
Post a sweat later if anyone cares.

Stupid question, during nba, when there is a late scratch, the plan to rebuild the line ups would be what? Regenerate them? how do you re enter etc…im lost lol
Global swap could work on DK. After I entered all the lineups, I swapped a 2B across the board that I didnt like. If you find out fast enough, it takes seconds.
This will be great for NBA, RG coming through again!

dang..makin google news.
Perfectly stated. That’s all anyone asked for…a level playing field.
Can’t wait for the FD one….but I have a question. Did you ask FD’s permission to create a script? As far as I understand it, they haven’t “officially” said yes to anyone.
It can be reverse engineered rather easily if one wanted to. One can take the free version and add to it, if needed.
I feel like I’m missing something, but wouldn’t writing down all your lineups in a .csv format take just as long as entering contests the normal way? I can see why this will be great once you can edit lineups that were already made, but right now, is it really such a huge help?
Btw, don’t take this post as complaining. I think it’s awesome that you guys did this for us, I just want some advice on how to take full advantage of it.

The idea is that you use either A) Rotogrinders lineup builder or B) Your own projections + Roster optimizer to create a set of lineups in .CSV.
I used it today in the moonshot, but I only had time to mess around with a single lineup that I entered 20 times with different filler/pitchers. It loaded 30 lineups very quickly and did its job well.
This is exciting and scary at the same time… the game has officially been changed a bit.
Used the lineup builder to create the data I wanted. In this case the top 8 o\u teams with Shields/Fernandez.
Chopped of the L/L matchups, and some players that were below 1.3 per $1000 (per RotoGrinders projections) Kept whittling away until I had about 35 lineups.
Favorited the top 27 lineups, downloaded them to a spreadsheet. Imported to DK in seconds in a $1 tourney. (Still had to matchup each lineup to an entry)
$27 spent, got $25.50 back in the $1 GPP without really even looking at the lineups. Almost too easy, and a fun experiment despite eating 6%.
Great tool. Thanks.
thanks for making this!
i assume since it wasnt mentioned that rg is not seeing or storing the csv’s we put into the extension or collecting any other data?

Can we get Zach Godley and tyler Wilson added to the lineup builder please and thanks.
RG Rep
All set with Godley, Wilson be be added shortly.
Edit: both should be added now
are the rosters being stored on the RG server after upload? does RG have the ability to mass mine lineups before roster lock?
