      2019 DraftKings FFWC Finalist

Gabe Hunterton from iTeam called to let me know they will not be posting more real money games. The site will remain online so that players can cash out funds. You can cash out through Paypal or check. Paypal is faster and recommended.

I had high hopes for iTeam. Gabe has a regulated gaming background, making him a great fit for the new DFS landscape. They seemed to be in a great spot to take advantage of whatever opportunities arose with the DraftKings/Fanduel merger. The capital markets didn’t agree, though. Gabe was not able to raise the large series A round needed to make the next big push. They will continue to own the code and IP and may come back online if things change and they’re able to raise money in the future.

If you have any questions or issues feel free to post them here.

I received a wire for my full balance this afternoon, very quick and easy process. Great communication with Gabe throughout.

    Loved Rosters.
I was bummed when I came in 2nd (no prize) in the free Superbowl trip contest.
Hope the winner gets his trip.

very impressive…I closed out around 6:30pm and received payment through Paypal prior to 9:30pm. I’d give these guys a chance should they decide to return.

Rosters has exceptional customer service and is clearly run by good people. I hope they return soon. I would absolutely be a customer and recommend the site to anyone.

Go and check how many times he has had to repay casinos for cheating, twice now. You want your money around a guy like that ? Good for you

    This is a bad take.

  • Tobs

Sounds like they were great people with a fine vision…but the site itself was horrendous.

If you email support they can check on the status of your withdrawal. Please include your username and paypal email address you requested your withdrawal to.

    Thank you

It’s a disturbing trend as I feel DraftPot will be finished after this NFL season too. We’ll only be left with the merged FanDuel/DK site and that probably won’t be too exciting. Feel like DFS is beginning to die already…

On a positive note, Rosters paid me out very quickly and always did.

It’s honestly becoming depressing. Between these small sites closing up and the insane variance for marginal winrates it’s really becoming a waste of time.

@Meatacus, Aces? FantasyDraft? Yahoo all still exist and seem to be doing fine / hanging in there

This one is tough, I’m a low stakes player but earned ‘Pro’ status on iTeam by doing really well since they started out. Was able to move into a nicer house because of my success on the site so there will always be a special place for iTeam with me. Having said that and after playing there daily since they started last football season, I’m not all that surprised. After seeing the prize and player pools decrease this football season the writing was on the wall. After being a profitable player at other smaller sites like draftteam, pro draft league, statkings, fantasyhub, and many other sites you probably never heard of I am questioning my role in the industry going forward.

I do not think one site is profitable right now and if they are not able to be profitable after many years what makes you think they are ever going to be profitable? I hate to have this sky is falling attitude, but I think there is a shift going on where recreational players may stop playing to make money and just play here and there for fun. Unless sports betting becomes legal and the leagues themselves can offer games I don’t see where all the new players are coming from? Looks like I’ll be playing a lot more on Yahoo now, I wonder if sites like Aces and Draft will be around this time next year and with the merger there is way too much uncertainty going on. I’m thankful for my day job.

I’d like to thank Gabe and everyone else at the iTeam Network for a fun site and top notch service, I’ll miss winning & cashing out weekly, hopefully another site can pop up and become successful, but seems like regulation has helped kill off the majority of the smaller sites.

Good. Hope Ivey lost his as$. Maybe he can go back to swindling baccarat joints.

Dan Back had a pretty solid take on this when DK and FD announced the merger. He said it’s a prime opportunity for another player to emerge as the solid alternative to DraftDuel/FanKings/WhateverIt’sCalled because the pros need at least two options.

I didn’t ever love playing on Rosters, but I had one issue with a deposit one time that wasn’t going through and then did go through twice. They called me very soon after and were extremely helpful in solving the issue and even gave me like $10 extra as a nonwithdrawable bonus. Good people! I wish them the best.

  • TheTruthIsALie

First Fantasy Feud, now Rosters. These were two huge blows for me, and the loss of these sites doesn’t bode well for the future of DFS.

I just want to express how positive my interactions with the site and its representatives have been. They are very active on the forums, via email, etc., and they took steps to improve the issues related to the site’s functionality (and issues are to be expected from any site during its beginning stages, right?).

I thought Rosters was doing fine as well, however the NFL tourneys were shrinking in size as the season went along, but seems like most sites do the same. I unfortunately can’t play on Yahoo being that I’m Canadian but I do play on the other 2 you mention and can only hope they grow instead of shrink in the future.

I really enjoyed playing on Rosters. The customer service I received was really solid. There were a few issues that you could expect with a new site but The other thing that was great was their mobile app was fantastic for such a small site. In comparison, the Fantasy Aces mobile app is so bad that it is almost unusable. It also sounds like no players will have any issues getting funds which means the site was being run the right away with player balances not being used to fund operations.

Also like that they guaranteed the small 50/50 contests! It was a bad business move but great for players because those things never filled. So many 50/50’s had 9/10 players or fewer!

  • Myballzachertz

Guys if you are looking for a solid small site FantasyDraft is it. Excellent service and fastest withdraws in the industry. They didn’t pay me to say this nor do I have anything to do with the site other than player.

We have a full featured app coming out soon. Not a slimed down V1, it is going to be really good with a lot of bells and whistles. It has taken a little longer than anticipated but it is VERY close.

  • pootnami

I agree. Fantasy Draft is definitely a quality site. Waiting for their app!

  • TMH887

I’m just glad I won’t have Phil Ivey staring at me like a creep anymore.
