Poor Unico. Assuming if Landry pars, he takes down the $100k?

No poor…. was looking great Thursday, but pretty average Friday and Saturday.

I had given up on any big money and just planning on getting my entry fees back

Think I am getting second…. what a day

When I checked earlier I was 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th for $192,000…. almost passed out, but grateful for the second place if it holds. Is everybody done??

    Congrats!!

Been getting into golf recently and honestly this is the only time i’ve been pissed. Joke greens reward garbage putters who straight put (did you see any breaking puts go in?) Plus Henley…. Henley picks? I mean if you pick him for illogical reasons (like he gave you a high five) sure, but what a joke. Just want to bitch so enjoy. Shorting de tomorrow lol, just kidding.

Damn, nice hit Unico! I finished just short of the cash line with 5/6, same as every other week for me.

    Thank you

Idk what’s happening…. I am afraid to ever open the app again

Seriously… I am at the beach… checked my lineups…. Closed the app and wonder wtf is going on…

    Dude! Nice score!

    Congrats

  • Jgarver345

Did Unico win?….I can’t see anywhere on the app how to view contests that I’m not entered in.

    Wherever you finished, congrats!!

Nice to see someone from the forum win big. Good job.

Won the Yahoo tournament and also got 7th. Back in the profit on golf for the year. Was starting to think I might not be good at the golf.

  • NoLimits0

Congrats unico. I was rooting for you since Thursday when you said you had all those teams then.

  • NoLimits0

Ok week with ZJ disappointing. But overall still up so I guess not too bad.

No exposure to Dylan. Who on here had him and why if I may ask?

  • tristanwolf

    wow congrats unico!

I didn’t win anything big with Frittelli, but I did have some of him. He stood out in my list from the price discrepancy between FD and DK. Just one piece of the puzzle when I’m trying to find salary relief on someone who FD apparently thinks has a decent chance. I didn’t pick him thinking he’d win, though. He was basically just a “good deal.”

Started the day in 14,000th place, was as high as inside the top 1,000 for about $30 and climbing thanks to Pornstache coming out the gates hot, thought I was gonna do well today and then the rest of my lineup stunk it up and finished in 14000th place for min cash. Pretty disappointing day

On the flip I also played golf today and shot 5 over 77 only my third time out this year, I’ve been playing well…. I’ve shot 76, 78 and 77 so far this year

  • JaBr

Sungjae Im fade was the right call.
How do you shoot -12 and only score 75 PTS? Astoundingly awful.

Not bad for the third time out. I shot 5 over today too (75 on a par 70). I would also have been a good showdown play since I’m sure I’d be min priced and I ended up with 5 birdies, including a streak to close the front 9 (then fell apart on the back lol).

I’m not understanding people’s disdain for Im’s 75 points, he shot slightly better than half Frittelli’s score and scored half the points, could he have scored another 10 or so points, yeah sure, but his score relative to par was half of the guy who won. I’d say his fantasy points are close to on par compared to his golf score

I don’t know what everyone else scored but from the golfers I can see I saw that both Zach Johnson and Sepp Straka outscored him.

Straka has over 90 FPS and was -12.

  • NoLimits0

Joaquin Niemann got so many fantasy points. Only was -15 but put up 120 fantasy points wow. That’s more than Glover and Glover had an albatross.

  • BIF

Hard to believe but this week was worse than last week

    $386 in and a whopping $1.80 out !!

Thanks to KP24 for the Beat the Forum H2H as that was my only winning entry today for GPP or H2Hs. Glad I scaled back – I hate birdie fests !

Next year for these birdie fests, I’m playing a single bullet and just throwing it in a couple GPPs that’s it.

Kinda glad this season is winding down 😂

Bring on Royal Portrush and bring on the wind so it isn’t a birdie fest – only have about 25 tickets for the Milly but I’ll play the 20-max as well so will have about 40ish lineups

  • Dewoc19

Hindsight is always 20/20, there will always be options that were better plays in the same range, do I think he scored well, no, but I dont think it was as bad as everyone makes it seem either, just my opinion

  • hautalak

Damn it’s been a while since my “PIG domination”. My iteration of it did worse in GPPs unfortunately so no cash.

Congrats winners. More specifically unico and benstnick! Refreshing to get back to some “real” golf next week.

  • shamrock77s

Great week Unico! Hell of a lineup.

Sure, it could have been worse I guess. But for the salary he was not worth it was my point… which is simply true.

Also, many golfers around his score and who finished in a worse position scored higher fpts.

    Examples:
    Im -12, 75 pts
    N. Taylor -11, 80.5 pts
    Vegas -10, 89.5 pts
    Wagner -10, 81.5 pts
    Redman -10 77.5 pts
    Werenski -9, 84.5 pts
    Malnati -7, 75.5 pts

^^ the Malnati example is most damning, IMO, 5 shot difference and .5 more points for Malnati. Im basically scored the bare minimum which is disappointing.
