Last Week Tonight main segment was on DFS today if anyone wants to watch it. I love the show however Oliver took a strong stance against sites being a game of skill and mocked many aspects of it.

literally all of that is irrelevant in the NY case. its all about whether or not it is gambling

Really? Lmfao, I love dfs, call what is it, gambling, no matter what skill it takes to play the game. If I have to put a (wager) penny to participate in a game so I can win a penny or more back due to my skill in picking the right lineup its friggin gambling. If I could participate in a game l without an entry fee and win some money, thats a freeroll, not gambling. The haters cant say is destructive, addicitve yada yada, I did not use any real money.

its not my opinion its what the friggan case is about. i think its a stupid argument because there are 1000 things in regular life that are “gambling” if you want to have that elementary definition of gambling (think any type of insurance), so who cares if it is gambling. The answer, unfortunately, is that NY cares if its gambling.

Funniest thing is Schneiderman said this clown had good analysis on his Twitter account. Hopefully a good lawyer points out where this chucklehead gets his “sources.”

“Your husband.. the big F’ing winner!” – Seth Rogen with his $6.18 big check LOL this killed me..

Seems like Rogan at least gets the peripheral stuff that can go on, like losing and trying to turn DFS into more than a hobby.

Also I bet you Escot will get a good laugh out of the 2 million joke. If the guy is legit good he could do very well on his 2 million win, seems like the parody just thinks you can’t win.
