So I get a free trip through my local casino to go stay there over that weekend. On that sunday I have the option of either attending the Nascar race or the NFL game. Both are all inclusive seats.

Which would you choose and why?

Neither myself nor my GF has ever been to a nascar race. We dont have a rooting interest in the Chiefs or Bengals. If that matters

If you are in a suite you will probably find yourself socializing, drinking and eating more than actually watching the game/race especially with no vested interested in either event. I know the suites in NFL stadiums are pretty top notch…I’ll defer to someone else on the NASCAR side of that (I’ve never been to a race either).

I’d go to the football game personally. I can’t stand Nascar so that’s a major factor in the decision.

Try something new. Go for Nascar.

I DONT KNOW HOW OTHER NASCAR TRACKS SUITES ARE BUT AT BRISTOL THEY ARE PRETTY TIGHT AND STEEP!! IVE BEEN IN A FEW DIFFERENT ONES AND THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE SAME. DONT KNOW IF THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DEGREE THE BANKS ARE SET AT BUT I WOULD THINK FOOTBALL WOULD BE MORE EXCITING!!!

If you are a gambling man, which I would assume so knowing you won this trip (or earned it?) from a casino, I would say go to the NFL game. The difference between the suites/seats at NASCAR or NFL will probably be fairly negligible, but if you want a rooting interest in the game and to put some money on it….definitely NFL.

However, trying something new is always fun. I’ve been to a NASCAR race here in Michigan and it was a great time. Good people watching, exciting race, etc

Thanks for the input. I think we are going to do the Nascar race and people watch while the cars go Vroom, Vroom.

Anyone else find it difficult to read a post in all caps?

I honestly do for some reason.

ask yourself this: would I rather watch cars drive around in circles for three hours, or would I rather go to a NASCAR race?

    Either one.

Kansas traditionally isn’t all that exciting of a race, but the spring race this year wasn’t bad.

I’d probably go check out Arrowhead myself, but I’ve also been to numerous racetracks.

Yeah, although the racetrack is 10 feet from the Hollywood casino (Which is a huge plus)..you haven’t experienced KC unless you attend a game at Arrowhead.

Also make sure to hit KC Joe’s and Arthur Bryant’s BBQ

I live in KC and would have loved to show you around…but I am in Birmingham Ala for 3 weeks on business.

    Have fun

Arrowhead is easily one of the best NFL experiences for a game – good and very close parking setup as well so a great pre-game experience.

    I vote NFL game

Lol I suggested that but since technically she plays on my card some she thinks she should go as well. They have some type of shopping experience for her on saturday at Legends or something like that.

Someone mentioned Hollywood Casino, thats actually the property thats giving us the trip but we are staying at Argosy because there is not a hotel at Hollywood beside the track.
