Hey RG Members, I’ve decided to dip my toes in the DFS coaching arena. I’ve missed the days of helping students crush NL Hold’em back in the day. Coaching was essential for me to improve my overall poker game and I would not have reached the levels I did without some grooming/tutorship from fellow pros. I always want to be a student of the game in certain aspects(constant need to improve/learn) and teaching the game to others. Coaching has helped me stay hungry and refocus my attention to the process(long term) and not the results (short term).

With that said, I have to be one of the first ever players to find the great game of DFS back when I was full time poker grinder. I joined a site called Instant Fantasy Sports in 2007: I have over 15 million invested in games since my software/computer/sites started tracking results in 2012. With my background as a poker player, I understood the nuances of Bankroll management, risk, variance and game theory that has helped me be super profitable in this industry. I’m excited to unlock some new concepts to future students or plug up certain leaks(known or unknown) that you have in your overall game. Each student has their own strengths and weaknesses and I will construct my teaching around that specific individual.

In this dfs age of higher rake (18%, c’mon man!), it’s not as easy to profit. Lets plug your holes and make you the best dfs version of you. Here’s a link to view a more in depth coaching profile outline: Contact me via twitter: @killab2482 or through dm on rotogrinders (killab2482) and we can set up Skype or Google hangout schedule that works for the both of us!

If he has continually improved, why has he ignored repeated requests from multiple people to simply share his results. For someone that is so disciplined and with such a strong math and analytical background, why is it so hard to just say BAM, look, here is the proof that I crush these games and deserve to be on here coaching. It’s that simple, no? It would take me literally like 15 minutes to get that information for someone.

I totally get game selection. Of course it is a huge part of what we do and have done in the past. As much as I understand it and apply it to my own life, I still believe someone that has truly mastered their craft would be able to beat the main games on the main sites. Not playing any of the games, to me, means he knows he can’t beat them. If you can’t beat cash games on DK/FD, that’s fine. Blame the rake, that’s certainly within reason. BUT, if you can’t beat the rake on any of the major sites, why in the world are you trying to profit off of coaching others? Admitting that you aren’t even in the top 50? 100? players in the game and having the nuts to ask 250/hr and embellish everything from your past? Come on.. He’s coaching because he needs money and can’t beat the game. Think what you want, maybe he’s got too much pride to be honest with you, I don’t know. What solid DFS player puts 95% of their volume on Yahoo and Fantasy Draft?

Now you are coming off a bit petty. No answer is good enough for you. I thought reading the posts earlier that perhaps you hate killab. I now revise that thought. I think you love him and miss him. Hey, that’s ok. We all have our thing.

This thread is going too far. Killab is clearly a good player. Now let the market decides if $150/hour is too much or not. If someone needs KB’s track record/1099/… before paying for his services, he/she should DM him and KB will decide if he wants to share anything privately or not.

Just because he is a coach does not mean he has a duty to show everyone here his P&L or other very private infos

After talking it over among fellow admins, we decided this thread has run it’s course. At this point arguing back and forth isn’t accomplishing anything. Each side has had their voice heard.
