Does anyone know of a good resource to see which players are more likely to be late scratches?

It would be awesome if RG were to compile a “cheat sheet” taking into account B2Bs (back and front end) age, coach tendency, player history, etc.

Anyone know of any existing resources that try to quantify this information?

Google NBA schedule, this forum, RG app, and Twitter. Searching a players name 10 mins before tip off will usually tell you if they are sitting.

Would it have caught Carmelo Anthony out tonight ? Totally screwed me…Lineups locked at 7:00pm and rotoworld has it at 7:07pm….so sick of NBA and not knowwing before hand…..

Any tips for a NBA newbie ? MLB integration so much better on DK/

It was out before 7. It was like 6:53 on rotoworld. I have the nba news page on auto refresh starting 30 min before lock and i have a beep sound that tells me if anything has changed.

The RG lineup app works pretty well it will send you a push notification if a player is out. Sometimes the news comes out late though due to the teams not letting anyone know until the game starts which is after contests lock.

But lock was at 6:00 tonight …..

The only good news about this is we are all on the same shitty page. It is nice tho that some teams do embrace and realize that lineup information is important to a good majority of their fans. The atlanta hawks have been quite friendly this year…the 76ers have been quite rude making changes to their lineups minutes after lock on several occasions.

what sport but you should be using twitter its the earliest news and most of the sources on the web use twitter news

This app is great and pretty much keeps everything up to date. Only been using it for a week or so but it is way better than going to each teams twitter feeds trying to get the info.

I run this search in Twitter and it works pretty well for me. Click the “live” tab at the top to see real-time results come in.

#nba OR #DFS AND “is out”

Do they owe us timely lineup news for some reason?

No but remember that basketball games aren’t events that NEED to happen. The reason they do with revenue tied to it is because of the fans/entertainment value of it. The 76ers aren’t more likely to win more games by being shady with lineup news they are just more likely to turn more people away from their brand. I realize on the big picture we are just a spec of sand on a beach when it comes to this but just reminding that sports are meant for entertainment rather than something that would exist the way it is now without the fans so I generally feel most things should be done with that in mind.

NBA Fantasy Labs twitter account. It’s the equivalent of what Basketball Monster was last year. I leave it up from 3:00 to 4:00 when lineups lock and just watch all the news come in on who’s in and who’s out.

Idk about NBA league rules but NFL mandates the inactive list be declared 90 mins before game time. This does not necessarily equate to announcing all injuries (Ivory early in the season was announced as playing 30 mins before game time and then never set foot on the field for instance) but if the leagues support DFS (NBA commish does) and they want support/revenues from DFSers then they should set some reasonable injury declaration rules.
