UPDATED 5:50 pm
Hey guys, it’s Friday and Kevin is taking a little vacay this weekend, so I will be hanging with you through Sunday!
We have a full slate of games today, but I really have my eye on Chicago since the storms will be popping around Wrigley by first pitch.
CHC vs SEA: We have a few showers west and south of the city this afternoon (as of 1 pm). It now appears they will be hanging in and around CHitown during game-time. The biggest risk with any storm is heavy rain and that would most certainly lead to a delay. While delays are possible, there is still a fairly low chance of a PPD. There is a little risk with this one, so I’ll stick with YELLOW
*Wrigley Field is roughly one mile from Lake Michigan.
DET vs HOU: The rain will be around before game-time, but I can’t totally count out a shower or two sneaking in during this one. While delay chances are pretty low, we will resort to the wisdom of Dumb and Dumber here…..“so you’re saying there’s a chance!” GREEN / YELLOW
CLE vs OAK: Showers should stay to the south and west, but there is still a slight chance of a late inning delay. GREEN / YELLOW
ATL vs PHI: Radar (as of 5:50) is showing showers just north of the city. They will fade out as game-time approaches. We should be good here! GREEN
Winds won’t be too much of an issue today. A southwest wind for SF vs WAS could give the ball a little extra carry to left.
