    Has this ever been done?

It might be kind of cool, but maybe only once or twice a week. Just a GPP where the lower your score is, the better. I actually think it would be pretty challenging.

    2 main rules

    1. You can’t leave more than $1,000 on the table. This will prevent players from just rostering a team full of cheap punts.

    2. For every player on your team that is a NS, you receive +10 points as a penalty. I think this is more fair than saying everyone on your roster must start which would make it hard for the working class to stay completely on top of things.

    The golf guys do this.

    They call it PiG.

Have to use 45,000 minimum of the 50,000 cap.

Can’t use guys who withdrew before event.

for football, I’ve played in this for years:

I’ve heard this called lowball in the past. It’s pretty fun, and surprisingly hard. Seems the best lowball scores come when you don’t want to them too!

10 points for not starting is too small of a penalty, unless you want that to actively be an area for optimization. If so, I’d put a player that’s out or DTD + not starting as +15-20.

There used to be a site called reversefantasyfootball that rebranded to draftdawgs. It was the early days of DFS but they offered games like this. It was very tough. Your guys had to play and there were a few other rules.
