I’ve been practicing mass-entering very low-limit GPPs for NBA like the Quarter Arcade on DK. Can someone gives some tips on how you reserve 50x entries and upload import the actual lineups you want to use that day.

What I typically do is use either Rotogrinders or Fantasylabs to script lineups for these entries but the problem I have is in order to reserve 50x entries early in the NBA day- I’ll create a “dummy” lineup and enter into that tourney 50x. Then between 5-6:30pm as news comes out I will build the actual lineups I want to use on RG or FL, download the csv and upload these 50x lineups to DK. Then I go to DK “My Lineups” and export each of these 50x lineups into that tourney to replace the “dummy” lineup but I have to ‘export’ each of the newly built 50x lineups individually, which seems to take forever especially right before lock.

There must be an easier way to do this right, if so can someone help? Thanks

Yep. On DK, go to Lineups->Edit Entries. From there you can download your “dummy” lineups in one CSV. Then just take your real lineups, copy/paste over the dummies, and upload the new file.

    Hope that helps.

It seems like you have the reserving part down. I enter 1 dummy lineup into a contest I plan on max entering from the DK full web page, not the mobile site or app (since the contests usually fill before I’m home from work I do this from my cellphones web browser on the full DK site), then after submitting that lineup the browser takes you to a page that has a “Bulk Enter” button. I click that and then enter the contests I want to enter by simply typing in the number of entries I want. Your dummy lineup will then be entered everywhere you type in an entry number. I then make the lineups on RG’s lineup builder and download the .csv when I have the lineups I like. Then go to DK under the lineups tab and click edit entries. Download your dummy lineup .csv. Open the dummy and RG .csv’s, copy the lineups you made in the RG .csv and paste them over your dummy lineups in the dummy .csv. If you are in more than 1 contest make sure you paste twice (or more depending on how many contests you enter) over each set of dummy lineups. Save the dummy .csv which now has your real lineups in it. On the same DK page you just downloaded that dummy .csv from on the right hand side there is a “Upload CSV” tab. Click that and upload the saved dummy .csv with your real lineups in it. All in all it should take you 2 minutes max to do the downloading and uploading process. Give yourself some extra time the first night you do this though, I had a friend who was doing this for the first time and had some confusion and did not get his lineups up in time. Sorry for being wordy, hope it isn’t confusing.

I just did everything listed above but it didn’t work. I made a dummy lineup, clicked bulk enter. Typed 50 into the quarter arcade. Went to fantasy labs and made 50 lineups. Downloaded the dummy file from DK and then downloaded the CSV from fantasy labs. I opened both CSVs. Copied the fantasy labs CSV into my dummy CSV and saved it. Uploaded the the new dummy CSV to DK. It said my lineups had been edited correctly. When I clicked the lineups tab. I still had 50 of the same dummy lineup I made. What exactly am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help guys.

@shrapnel Make sure you click “edit entries” on DK and not “upload lineups” from the lineups tab. After clicking “edit entries” that page you get brought to is where you download the DK CSV. If you just upload lineups to DK they will not be in any contest

  • shrapnel

I did click edit entries and downloaded the CSV with 50 dummy lineups. Pasted my actual lineups into the dummy CSV I downloaded from my fantasy labs csv. Then uploaded the dummy CSV with my real lineups. I followed every detail of your instructions with no success.

  • yolobet

    Are you getting error messages?

  • shrapnel

No I’m getting this message. 50 entries have been edited to reflect the lineups in your file.

In this post you say you pasted the line ups into the CSV you downloaded from fantasy labs and then uploaded that.

The CSV you need to paste into is the CSV you download from DK to ‘Edit Entries’, make sure to re-save it with the new line ups, then upload. The DK csv you download will show each individual QA entry on a different row.

Once you upload a CSV and they are entered into a contest. If you want to overwrite those lineups with a new CSV, is there a way to do that? That’s what I couldnt figure out the other day.

Yep, absolutely there is. First, you’ll click on My Lineups, then Edit Entries. On the left then there will be a button to press under Download Entries. Click that and it will download the CSV. From there, open up the CSV and delete the player list (not the specific positions on the top). Once you generate new lineups using the LU builder, open up the new CSV file and copy/paste the new lineups onto the DK Entries CSV (that you already deleted players from). Once you have the new lineups pasted onto the new CSV, save it and then go back to Draftkings My Lineups page. Click Upload Lineups and upload the new saved DK Entries CSV. That should edit your lineups!

  • jdtrey

To minimize confusion since I know it’s going to be asked again… you have to do the downloading AND uploading on the page that loads AFTER you click edit entries! If you just click upload lineups all of your lineups will be on DK but not in that particular contest. You have to download the DKentries csv file and then upload that same (edited) DKentries csv file on the same page you downloaded from .. My Lineups > Edit Entries

what a life saver! I had been having the same trouble with just mass uploading a bunch of lineups into thin air on DK, this works perfect now!

  • LineDance

Can someone please revisit this? I’m having the exact same issues as Shrapnel. I have a bunch of lineups in “My Lineups” but can only get the 1 dummy lineup in my contests. I actually have more lineups in “My Lineups” than I need which is also causing some frustration. Surely I don’t have to export them 1 by 1??!
