Is there an easy way to reserve say 50+ spots in a tournament without going in 50+ times and hitting reserve?
    Referring to DK
    Thanks

No. Best way would be use a lineup builder to make 50 place holder lineups and then enter them all with 1 click.

How do you enter all 50 different lineups into draftkings at once?

Just hit enter on a tournament and it will bring up a box that has a button to enter 50 lineups for $xxxx

Yes. DK does have a Bulk Enter option which you can use to quickly lock in 50 entries. Enter the event in question with a single line up, it’ll bring you forward to a page where you can enter the same line up into other events. Click the Bulk Enter option at the top of the page and simply type 49 into the event which you just put the first entry into. I use this process daily to quickly lock in 50 NHL entries into the QA and then I edit them before lock either manually or with a CSV upload.

I have been trying to figure out a quick and reliable way to do the same thing. I don’t think there is one.

On DK go to: Lineups > Edit Entries > Select sport and slate > Download. Leave Site Open.
Go to csv that you downloaded> open CSV, clear out dummy lineups, paste in good lineups (Don’t touch columns your entry info — only touch the players) > Save and close csv
Go back to site you left open > upload csv > Done.

Also, no reason to make 50 dummy lineups. You can just make 1.

I did what you said step by step, however i get errors and wondering if you could help
    SUCCESSFULLY UPLOADED: 50/125

50 entries have been edited to reflect the lineups in your file.

    ERRORS: 75

    xxxxx players
The entry could not be updated because the specified player swap was invalid.
    Affected Row: 2
    xxxx players
The entry could not be updated because the specified player swap was invalid.
    Affected Row: 3

    and so on

  • ocdobv

Hard to say without seeing the actual csv.

    • Did the game already start? If so and a player in your lineup is locked, then the lineup in the new csv has to have that locked player in the same spot.
    • Are all the lineups in the csv valid?
    • Does a player in your csv had a bad code?
    • Are all the players in the slate you are loading? (I’ve made this mistake multiple times)

I usually start by looking at the rows it says had a error. Check them. Is there a player in each them? if so, he might be the issue. Otherwise, manually check to see if the lineup is valid.

my guess is i had a different slate for my build as for the one i was uploading since it had early games last week.
So let me ask you, can i still do this, and mass edit lineups if a player has already played.
    Example
say in 5 lineups this week, i had RB Freeman, and then on Saturday do my import. As long as i have kept Freeman in the same spot, it should upload still fine?

  • lightninglarry

  • deactivated51600

Yes. You can still do the mass edit on saturday if you had freeman in tonights game, just as long as, like you said, leave freeman in the same spot.

    thanks for the help

This was super helpful! Very frustrating to eye up a contest, work on your lineups and go on late Sat, early Sunday to find contest filled. Thank you

Is there anyway to do this on FD?

I was going to try out FanDuel tomorrow for the first time using more than 1 line-up… trying to figure out the same thing. Was going to enter 50 line-ups. Was thinking of trying a dummy line-up 50 times, but after that do you have to edit them all manually? Say I didn’t come up with my final 50 line-ups until 10 minutes before lock, would it even be possible to get those line-ups in on time? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Unfortunately, no. FanDuel doesn’t have a mass edit feature like DraftKings. I’d recommend that anyone who wants this feature email FanDuel support to request it. The more users who ask for it, the more likely they’ll prioritize their product development team to work on it.

This is why you’ll see on FD large mass enter tourney will fill quicker and closer they get to filling. The 150,000 person GPPs will go slow all day but once they hit the 120,000+ entered then the mass bulk entries will start to drop and you’ll see the number jump 100-150 entries at the time.

Thanks for the replies. That sucks, imo it is a mistake to not have it. Luckily there weren’t too many truly questionable guys this weekend, so I put in 100 line-ups. But doubt I’ll play again in the future. I was pretty anxious knowing that if anything unanticipated came out I’d have to mad scramble to change everything, and even then I’d have wound up with a bunch of unwanted exposures and pairings and I know it would have been sloppy. Guess it makes having a back-up plan that much more important. Think they are probably missing out on a lot of people who feel the same way.

What program is used to open the CSV file? Excel? Are there any free Excel programs to download?

  • wutswafersmynilla

Have followed these instructions to the letter multiple times (I’m good with excel), but still get a similar error message as referenced above. Has anybody found a way to work with this? I’ve emailed DK support because I can’t get anything to work. Remarkable how complicated a process this is for an otherwise-simple concept: reserve multiple lineups now, pay now, draft later.
