Is there an easy way to reserve say 50+ spots in a tournament without going in 50+ times and hitting reserve?
    Referring to DK
    Thanks

Have followed these instructions to the letter multiple times (I’m good with excel), but still get a similar error message as referenced above. Has anybody found a way to work with this? I’ve emailed DK support because I can’t get anything to work. Remarkable how complicated a process this is for an otherwise-simple concept: reserve multiple lineups now, pay now, draft later.

On DK, click the Lineups tab at the top, and then MAKE SURE to click on the ‘Edit Entries’ tab, and upload from there. Do NOT use the ‘Upload Lineups’ tab to upload your lineups, it will not work. The ‘Upload Lineups’ tab only works for uploading brand new line-ups, but it will not work for editing existing entries. No idea if this is your problem or not, but thought I’d throw it out there since this was where I went wrong my first time, and I could have sworn I was following their steps exactly.

Also, Make sure you save the file you are trying to upload in a CSV format. Not sure how it works on other computers, but on my Mac I have to go: File > Export To > CSV. If I don’t do that before uploading it won’t work. Again, no idea if this has anything to do with your problem.

Just wanted to follow-up here for anyone interested – I believe I figured it out. As a few have mentioned above, you MUST have a placeholder lineup entered. For some reason, simply reserving (and subsequently having blank rows in your CSV file doesn’t work). You can also bulk enter using the placeholder lineup as referenced above.

Then, when you download the CSV file, you can overwrite the placeholder lineups as needed and upload from there. Also, I’ve found it works when I use the “Player + ID” column as opposed to just the ID column. I tested this twice and was able to get it to work, so hopefully it works for you.

Thanks for the reply – for some reason it didn’t show up until I re-posted just now. The crux of the problem was (for reasons I can’t explain) any blank lineups in the CSV file would not upload from reserving an entry alone. A dummy lineup needed to be entered and overwritten, and also use the “Player + ID” column. Thanks again for the reply.

thanks a ton to ocdobv for the step-by-step instructions. was scared to try this but it worked tonight and now will save me headaches when there is late news.

This was very helpful for me. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this for days.
