How chalky will the Red Sox be on dk? If you really want to you can stack 1-5(assuming it is the same as yesterday) pretty easily.

    Oooh, forum smack!

Anyways, it’s a forum…he asked a question and I answered. Its MLB, the sport with the most variance.

    Forum fight!

    I usually run 5-10 lineups a night.

Last nigh won a $7 satellite into the FD $444 monster tonight. I play between $100-200 a night, but never something that high an entry. Try and practice bankroll management and grind it out. Last year I finished 300th in the RG baseball rankings so that works for me.

I realize this is irrational, but I am only going to roll 1 lineup tonight. I don’t think I could handle it if one of my lineups was enough for a big score in the Monster and I didn’t use that one.

FWIW I am leaning Marquez as my SP.

Do we think Holland’s marginal success last year was a fluke? Historically he gets crushed by righties. Is anyone targeting Some of San Diego’s RHB? Reyes, Kinsler, Machado, Tatis?

    First off, good luck!

Secondly, while I could only wish to have top 300 type success, I’ve been very profitable in MLB DFS with almost only single bullets. It’s totally possible. Take it down man!

Looks like an OK play on FD. I think the upside is worth the risk. On DK I think Flaherty has similar upside and risk and a lot lower cost. Might be able to argue the same about Peralta.

Only do like 2 or 3 lineups for mlb per slate. Lucchesi, Flaherty, and Marquez are in my rotation tonight.
    But really…

    🤷‍♂️

I definitely thought about but the thing with Holland is that he’s actually been a reasonably solid pitcher for his career when healthy but people seem to treat him like he’s a gas can. I don’t think he’ll be getting Cy Young votes, but it’s not like it would be shocking to see him go 12-10 with a 3.90 ERA.

A’s-Angels…two not so fantastic pitchers that pitch to contact vs guys like Trout, Davis, Chapman.

    Game stack?

Yeah I’ll have some for sure. They do seem overpriced on dk though.

Anyone else having trouble loading the bvp page on the lineups page?

I deleted BvP completely from my internet browser history like it was one of those “hub” sites.

Good luck! Definitely go with one LU so you don’t have to play the what if game. I play higher stakes (on DK only) but my biggest advice is that you will see much more concentrated ownership and the chalk will be even more chalky. It only takes one low owned player to be different so don’t get cute for the sake of ownership. Play the obviously good plays and then find a spot or two to differentiate.

Last year flaherty pitched 23.1 innings against the brewers in those innings he
    H 13
    Er 5
    So 34
    Bb 8

That’s in 4 starts so he averaged 39 fd a start. Is that enough for his 9100 price on fd?

It’s absolutely point chasing … but it’s absolutely warranted to do so. Let’s keep in mind 3 things about Tim Beckham.

1 – he was the first pick in the draft for a reason and is now in his physical prime

2 – in his only MLB season with 500+ ABs he hit 22 homeruns

3 – even if he only has 20 homer power that still means there is about a 12.5% chance that in any game he’ll hit a homerun. At near minimum price even if he goes 0-4 it won’t kill you but another homer would be huge.

Personally I’m going to likely jam him in regularly until he’s 3k or more.

Had him in my dummy cash lineup. Probably sold.

LOL yes on Holland being a fluke. Unless you want to say that AT&T isnt a fluke but that is all there is to say.

      RG Tiered Ranking

Crushed Yahoo MLB yesterday. Finished 2nd in their 2 biggest GPPs. Thought I was taking both down until Merrifield scored more points who I had all over, just not in the lineup i was rooting for. Always the one off LU that seems to do it.

Tonight the pitching I like is basically Marquez, Lucchessi, Stripling, Cole, and key pivot Robbie Ray. I think he will be under owned on DK. Nobody is gonna spend up for him.

I think this is a Seattle bullpen game so Boston bats are solid. Also like the chalkier Toronto bats to come through today. And the Angels / Oakland game. My contrarian stack is Colorado.

Checking out the achievements and it doesn’t look like I got any credits in the “Big Fly” – total home runs accumulated in paid MLB entries category.

I definitely had a few homers yesterday…any ideas?

A 3.90 ERA pitching for the Giants will get you a 5-9 record
