Anyone know much about Cavale? I want to put him in my 4:05 single bullet. Just need 6-7 innings, 6k’s, 2 or less earned runs. His k:walk ratio is 4:1

Arcia is a lock for 18+ DK and he’s batting 6th and is $2,800 on DK

Why is he a lock for 18+ on DK?

Also, is anybody playing Archer? We all know the risk but seems like the right matchup for him to succeed if he’s still capable of that.

  • ASitar

    $5 Single entry DK: Civale/Fiers + Tor/Mil.

    Great work Quintana.

I like Arcia, and am OK with targeting castillo a bit… but he’s pretty brutal on light hitting righties. What’s your rationale?

ryu is solid but colorado is hitting .370 vs him

yeah but that also looks like coors effect….2016-2018

    Ryu vs COL in Coors: 3 GP/GS, 10.2 IP, 12 ER, 4 HR, 10 K
    Ryu vs. COL in LA: 2 GP/GS, 13 IP, 4 ER, 3 HR,12 K

Castillo is just awful against the Brewers. Played him last time he got lit up at Miller park. Gonna happen again apparently

  • RiskyBiscuits

Is there a GrindDown for today? Can’t seem to find it anywhere.

    Edit- I found it.

was that error in 1st a double play ball?

Wasn’t hit hard enough. Iglesias was going to first I think.

This, and Arenado being 11/19 off him, which accounts for a large chunk of that team batting average. Plus Ryu is at a different level this year, plus as good as he’s been this year, he’s been dominant at home.

Cardinals closer Jordan Hicks injured while recording the 2nd out in the 9th

so Webb in to face Rengifo

I’m up 5 and my opponent has Rengifo…

  • yisman

rengifo walked and I just got passed.

but then hudson credited with win so I won

How confident you feeling? Considering the max entries in the grand slam is only 11, just playing with a single bullet isn’t too bad. About 5% less rake in the $444 too, so there’s a little bit more money floating around per entry or however you want to look at it.

Well I am confident in Ryu/Lambert and I like ARI/TEX/SFG bats… but if the Yankees go off is goodnight

Yeah, my initial instinct was to go way under on the Yankees, but they’re oddly cheap. Hicks for 3.6K? Stanton for 4.1K? What are they doing?

It’s weird isn’t it? Like the SP pricing for the early slate…

The thing is they will be massively owned on a 5 game slate and I am not sure there are enough opportunities to stack them and differentiate effectively if playing only a few lineups.
OTOH the minimax was stupid small and same with the 20-max, they also shrunk the rundown… 20-30 entries in the $15 vs 150 MME? Almost guaranteed lost money.
