Finally the long MLB DFS break is over, and we are awarded with…. a 1 game slate. Another day in the deep depths of boredom.
Didn’t realize I broke my streak with the ASG :( That kind of sucks but oh well. And Pho you should be playing PGA!!!
It never crossed my mind that the ASG showdown counted against the streak.
Maybe it doesn’t… (I think we could make a case for DK & tonight for that matter).
Got some PGA lineups and I’ve been enjoying it lately. However, it doesn’t really satisfy my “Daily” fantasy cravings since you have to wait 4 long days for any sort of gratification.
I saw your other post but get into degen mode and play tennis and Summer League lol
If research were easier in those sports, I might be doing them too, haha.
But that’s the “edge” lol For once I wasn’t degen enough to do those! Played tennis once though. EVen with how frustrating baseball can be it’s nice to have it back.
As far as replacement pitchers/bullpen is there any real way to find out who is likely to play?

Tough showdown to crack. Lynn’s the better pitcher but Houston the better offense. Good values on both sides too. Last time Lynn faced this lineup he pitched 6 shutout innings before giving up 2 HRs in the 7th. Framber won’t pitch past the 4-5 th innong
Can’t decide whether I want Lynn in my lineup. Not a very experienced Showdown player – do you always take a pitcher in cash?
Vegas line is down from earlier, for what it’s worth.
I’m doing a single bullet with Altuve @ C. I have Lynn. Texas lefties have been garbage lately and the Rangers bullpen has been trash so a Houston hitter will have a big AB in the last few innings. My $’s on Tyler White.

So, I haven’t played Showdown MLB in a while (like two years), but do RPs still get points? I’d take any of those $3K RP punts to complete my lineup.
They get points for outs/K’s and negative points for hits, walks, etc. but no more hold or save points, which were clutch last year.
Not just that, the relievers got around 1.33x or 1.5x more points than starters, which was huge. you could have guys come in and get 15-20 points in a couple innings.
So is it rare now they end up in the winning lineups?
Rp’s still get 3 for a K as opposed to 2 for the starters right?
Nah, it’s the same scoring for all pitchers. 2 for a K, 0.75 per out. The only extra points you can possibly get are the 4 win points, which are impossible to predict beyond a starter.
Man they need to update the scoring on the site last I just looked it still showed the old scoring
