Bust of the night: Michael Brantley

  • superjon

Just a friendly reminder to stick with your gut. Wanted Cole because I didn’t think anyone from DET matched up well against him.

Pivoted to Flatery who has been okay, but outscored quite largely by Cole. The other issue is the salary I saved forced me to play high priced bats, and they all busted.

Tonight, the pitcher with the best MU according to my diligent research plans is CC. As much as I don’t want to play him. got to trust my gut.

Martin Perez apparently doesn’t have a pitch count, in case anyone was wondering how far he could go.

  • Renodog

I am not sure a pitch count is his main issue (ranger fan here)

I can’t think of a guy that means more to his team than him. He is on a tear.

i started with Perez as a starter to get a lot of Coors, but i switched off…..in part because I wasnt sure how many pitches he would get.

but I sort of do believe that players who are not very good get a slight bump at first, until the league scouts figure out what they have….

The fact that he was on the 60 day dl means he is not taking up a 40 man roster spot while he is rehabbing injury…he might just do ok tonight.

What a shitty night so far. Game I have tons of bats, no runs. Game I’ll heavy on both pitchers – runs and base runners all game.
A couple years ago I gave up playing on Sundays because it was my worst day and seemed to always be the day with the most oddities and oddities compared to my projections. I may have to add week or so before the All-Star break to that as well. I’ve hit a nasty rut and am just hemorrhaging money the last couple weeks, and I wonder if part of it is actually players being banged up burnt out and coming up in the break, making performances harder to project…I dunno…
It sucks losing every night though : (
