Some free advice I really need to start following.

    Being contrarian is so overrated.

Do you think that Sale gets lit up again vs the Blue Jays?

I’m probably more contrarian than most so I know how you feel. Remember it only takes one low owned player to make you different, or if you want to play the chalk just do something like stack 1-3, 5-6 instead of 1-5. You can be contrarian without being stupid and I was the latter plenty of times before I learned that. Having said that, chalk doesn’t always win so if you like something that isn’t going to be popular there’s nothing wrong with going with your gut.

What does everyone think the team to stack on the early slate? Boston?

Originally wasn’t going to play the early slate. Then decided I was, just because I wanted to play Nola at low ownership (relative to the slate), but now I’m not sure.

I suppose if I go ahead my first build would be Nola/Keller, Padres/Royals. Maybe

I do like Smith though. Lamet is solid too, but he might not throw more than 80-85 pitches, which caps him a bit.

Couldn’t be more perplexed by Sale.

Yeah, that’s part of my hesitancy and why I’m not sure anymore. I’m not worried so much about Nola failing himself. He’s been pitching well, he’s always been better at home. Very favorable umpire. Good history against the Dodgers.

Temps near 100F and 15-20mph winds blowing out in KC.

So itd be a 4-2-2 or 5-2-1…. I think im going to stick with the 4-2-2. Smaller slates dont necessarily need full on mack daddy stack right?

I lose every night with a big low owned contrarian play. It doens’t matter anymore. MLB is now about nailing 80% of your team having a career high scoring slate. And the same players go back to doing nothing the next day.

Just depends. I think in a single line up being a little more spread out can be beneficial.

I’m kinda liking CHW bats as the contrarian play/hedge against Keller who I assume will be highly owned to pair w Sale.
