Don’t understand why any team would give a young pitcher, just called up, his first MLB start at Coors field. Are they trying to destroy his psyche? 🤷‍♂️🤢👎🏻

Reynaldo Lopez? Am I missing something? I think you meant Patrick Corbin.

Reynaldo Lopez is half the price of Corbin on a day when Colorado faces a pitcher making his debut in Coors. Lopez has posted 42.50 and 21.30 DK points against the Tigers this year.

Yup. Not happy about it but since DK decided to make him free against one of the worst offenses in baseball I imagine he’s going to be 40% owned tonight.

You don’t care though. You’re going to take all you know and throw it out. You’re going Cards/Dodgers with Morton and Musgrove.

Roark (MIL cold like a icebox) Strahm, Beede, Stripling, Musgrove, leBlanc, Flaherty…. Reynaldo’s ownership may not be that high. There are a lot of options to fit stacks.

    Coors seems too cheap
TEX/LA hard to game after yesterday’s tragedy

Staying far away from pitching in ATL and NY
    Bauer is tempting
Corbin….. Marlin…. will probably stay away from those pesky fish

Was thinking the same about Coors, at least specifically to the Astros. I know marquez is talented, but Astros aren’t priced up at all. In fact I think they’re cheaper then they were over the weekend.

Not on FD. Prices rose s but. Altuve went up 400 and Springer 200.

Cards are cheap but they have been so cold I don’t think I can do it (might play Goldy as a one off). Musgrove owned the Cubs earlier this year but not enough K upside IMO.

I think MIL is going to get overlooked tonight and they might be the best stack on the slate. COL is the obvious spot against a guy making his first start but let’s not forget the Rockies are capable of whiffing with the best of them and Urquidy has a massive K rate in the minors so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them disappoint tonight.

Agreed. They have been cold and will be underowned. Will have some stacks but I think failure looms large

Roark has been bad against lefties, but doesn’t really get blown up either. I suppose I can see using them as one-offs, but not big on stacking.

Musgrove has owned the Cubs his whole career. A whopping 4 starts, but still. Probably won’t go there much. My decision of who to be heaviest on between him, Lopez, and Anderson will strictly be based on ownership. All 3 could get 25 or single digits.

It’s early and maybe I’ll get cold feet, but right now I’m leaning fading Coors from all angles. Rockies are expensive and this Urquidy kid has good numbers. Good numbers in the PCL means something. The entire PCL is like the Coors of the minor leagues. Even if he struggles a bit after him is possibly the best bullpen in baseball. The Astros are priced fairly, but Marquez is very good himself. If I do cave, it’ll be to mini-stack some Astros.

On Coors I am more interested in the Astros than the Rockies…. if Marquez goes 5 or so there is room for some big innings.

Panda’s point about the PCL is correct and is never easy to face a SP for the first time. That said is entirely possible that the kid gets blown up in his first start

    Very interesting slate
Will probably max out the $2 and throw some darts in the $111

I’m coming from a Yahoo angle where Reynaldo is only about 20% cheaper than Corbin. If I had to guess I’d say that Reynaldo may end up being tonight’s Adbert Alzolay, a.k.a, getting bombed at near 50% ownership.

For what it’s worth, I’m seeing significant reverse line movement in favor of the Tigers. They opened at +109 and now sit at -116 despite receiving only a third of the tickets.

MILB stats on Urquidy. Really solid vs LHB but struggles with RHB. Going to one off Arenado and probably land on Brewers
