At the risk of looking stupid, I don’t think Marquez is the worst idea tonight. Yes, Coors, but the Astros didn’t exactly look like an offensive juggernaut on their last home stand, most of them have never seen Marquez, he’s got a pitchers ump, and he’s got a 30% k rate vs RHBs and faces 7 of them tonight.

Not saying he’s a must play or that I’ll go there (though I might) but I think there’s some decent upside built into his DK price today.

With this many choices at pitcher, I didn’t even consider him.

Astros have a strong lineup, recent results aside.

Marquez is a good pitcher but not one of the top 5 values.

Yeo Brudda.. B Lowe cracks one out! Ya Mon!

  • 866

BOS bombs T.T. I’m toast. No Bostons. They may score 20 runs.

  • ASitar

Is Strahm/Mengden + Dodgers 2/3/4/5/6 too chalky on the DK 10:07 slate?

  • dragon1952

Corbin breezed through this LU last time so easily he must have stayed up doing tequila shots last night thinking all he had to do was show up :^ /

  • monarch

Nats getting hit with a delay

  • monarch

I got Reynaldo Lopez out at the buzzer. Guessing that Corbin will probably be done with a lengthy delay in DC

  • wpatrigo

Hope you all that are playing Reynaldo Lopez are hedging with a Tigers lineup. I wouldn’t want to be naked if he self destructs.

  • wpatrigo

Not big K appeal but the Cardinals offense has been abysmal for over a month—I’m throwing LeBlanc in some lineups with Morton.

Its locked but a decent chance it doesn’t go

so the weather a big deal today

    in game delay Pirates
    in game delay Nationals
late start White Sox (hoping they play)

    I have Strahm/Flaherty + Dodgers 1/2/3/4/5. Should be chalky.

  • MGoHarbaugh

Only 3 players I have going are Yelich/Moustakas/Thames who have all gone deep already. I have Reynaldo Lopez going though, terrified the game will PPD and ruin my great start.

  • wpatrigo

Vladimir Guerrero with three straight fastballs and never taking the bat off his shoulder.

  • sneaksox

Didn’t think we’d have to worry about Musgrove tonight…hope he comes back in once this delay is over. He was dealing too.

  • 866

The WSH and PIT games are toast. Pitchers aren’t gonna be back. Hope DET White Sock gm goes. Or I am decimated.

Pretty much any significant delay and the SP is almost always pulled.

  • sneaksox

Wash feed says Corbin is warming up and expected to come back in. I know he’s wearing 45 and doing it for Skaggs tonight so maybe that’s a special case but I’ve seen pitchers come back after an hour+. Expected to be 20-30 min longer in PIT…c’mon Joe…

  • TheWeeIceMan

Did Chi/Det get PPD? Showing up that way on ESPN.

    Conley taking over for Corbin

Conley took over for Gallen…I don’t think Corbin is letting anyone take him out of this game tonight.

this is my 3rd or 4th time playing the fencebuster. Don’t think I’ve cashed yet.

Pitcher pool was Musgrove, Lopez, Morton, Flaherty

I had to choose two, of course, so this time I settled on Lopez/Morton.

edit: forgot Strahm was in pool too

    screwed again

another non-cash, this time due to a surprise PPD

Roth at slate lock was saying no risk of PPD

  • yisman

really pissed because I did a pivot with Strahm but did that for my other contests, not the fencebuster

Amazingly, Lopez was almost 50% owned in the Fencebuster. Doesn’t really help me since it’s a GPP. Basically a lock that all the cashes will be from people who faded the PPD game.
