I wonder what ownership will be on NYM/SF bats in the early slate.

Cause the other 2 games gonna be—

  • superjon

Degening it up and playing that gross early 2 gamer on FD. Seems like one of those slates where you’ll want to play a few against your pitcher.

Yeah I’m rolling with Luchesi and have a couple Cub bats.

I can’t stomach Senzatela or Tanaka’s ownership numbers.

I’m rethinking that though. It’s an awful slate.

Not sure what you mean about Senzatela. he should be the contrarian option.

I think Luchesi and Tanaka will be the chalk.

I can’t stomach using Senzatela is what I meant and can’t stomach how high Tanaka’s ownership will be.

    Gotcha.

Yeah it’s ugly, but I’ve got him in all 3.

    1 with Judge/Hicks
    1 with Judge/DJ
    1 with Judge

He’s better on the road and the Yanks have some K’s in that line up.

Wish we had the option of just not playing the early slate.

I wish FD just made the very early and early slates one 5 game slate instead of such nonsense you suggested.

For early slate I game stack every scenario

    What’s today’s version of
“avoid Leake” (Leake nearly tosses a perfect game)?

    🍪😥..lol

Don’t know about Luchessi being chalk, think the Cubs will be chalk, which means Luchessi won’t. I know you didn’t say he’ll be chalk, just making a general reply. Not saying I like Luchessi either.

Watch it be R. Porcello who throws a gem today

    Tanaka/Quintana + Yankees 1/2/4/7/8. GL

Evening slate is tough. Drastic dichotomy between pitchers you’re confident in and guys that are total dart throws with the ability to implode like Porcello. Don’t feel good with any of the mid end options. MAYBE Sanchez but he has a tough match up and weather could be a factor. Feeling obligated to pay up for aces and punt 2+ positions hoping for a one off bomb from Alfaro and Chris Davis

Indeed. On DK I’m definitely willing to play Musgrove. Maybe Urquidy.. Kershaw is OK, but I really don’t want to go there. Cards heating up has me concerned about Castillo with that price. Greinke gets the Brewers. Soroka seems overpriced and gets the Nats, who are still dangerous enough in my mind that he’s not worth it with his upside. Berrios gets the A“s. All these expensive guys have tough spots, except Kershaw really.

Mid-tier is dreadful. I’m sure someone out of Gio, Sanchez, Canning, Porcello, Anderson, Eflin, Junis (who I don’t think has ever had a good start against the Indians, maybe he’s due?) and Mikolas will be useful, but none of it looks positive on paper.

Maybe Plutko can skate by with 5 relatively clean innings and get a W?

Which of the expensive pitchers is most likely to get shelled today

Porcello has been dreadful lately, and I feel good writing him off. Some of the punts I like are the O’s bats.

I don’t expect Gio to go long if he’s coming off the IL for a 7 week “dead arm”.

Eglin-gross matchup against a Lefty Heavy pirates team. Don’t want a part of him.

Canning has looked gross lately, but he’s got a nice Seattle matchup. And he’s also priced up at $8700 on dk.

Hot Cleveland offense against low ceiling Kunis.

I THINK I’m leaning toward Musgrove because he offers similar upside to the above guys and Mikolas at 2k-ish less.

However, I’m also tempted by Alcantara and Urquidy. I actually like Urquidy in this spot.

The day after Seattle scores 10 or more runs they average 8 this season so maybe stick with em

Alcantara could do OK. A RHP who mostly relies just on getting ground balls and weak contact against the Dodgers is kind of scary though. Most the Dodgers hit the ball hard and in the air.

JD Martinez 3 home runs in since June 16th

I no it doesn’t really matter but in last 7 games dodgers have average 9 runs

Yes and his FIP indicates that there is some regression coming. And you’re punting on the chance at a win it would seem.
