Bark at the Park in Baltimore – here is a live look. Field does not look to be playable.

If they weren’t planning on starting this thing up in Baltimore….why not just pull the plug either before the game or 1.5 hours ago during the first delay? Why make everyone wait around until 9:45 PM to not do it? Therefore, you figure they are planning on doing this thing.

No one is there anyway. The Os aren’t drawing crowds at this point. The only reason is because the Sox don’t want to spend a day off make it up or they don’t want a double header

  • fanturds

im actually thinking they will try to get 5 innings in if they haven’t called it by now.

the Orioles are as checked out as possible, I don’t think the Red Sox feel like dicking around with losing another off day + looking at losing some games this weekend….

but its going to be close whether or not the upstream clouds train over the stadium or not. If they train over, you might see a PPD in about 15-20 mins.

if not, then maybe resume play in 30-45 mins.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the home team has decision rights before the lineup cards are given to the umpire as to delay or postpone the game. Once the lineup cards are turned in it is in the hands of the home plate umpire. I would think now given the scoreline the umpire will wait as long as possible before calling the game.

Gosh dang it athletics. Smh man

  • Supersharpie

Yes, I noted above…looks like there is a window in Baltimore between 10:15 and 1:00 where they will be able to get this in.

The question I have is…does Price return to the mound after the long delay?

Orioles broadcast came on air at the top of the hour and said still in rain delay.

I think they are going to go for it.
