Old Dusty says JV should only miss two weeks.

Not the best day for me.

The Good – Choi was someone I liked quite a bit and he homered (right handed too! Not going to get pulled when a lefty comes in anymore). – Chatwood and Freeland were great for their prices (Chatwood was great period) – Rays stack provided 3 people at low % with 12+ points

The Bad – Red Sox and Reds just crapped the bed in good situations. – No lineups with Cruz or Ramirez

The Unfortunate – When I picked a higher priced pitcher I went Kluber

3-0 count, 2 on, 1 out, and Contreras blows it big time

Man DraftKings and Fanduel take a longggggg time to dispense winnings into your payroll. Seems like an eternity when you made some decent cash lol. Hurry that shit up boys sheesh

Damn! The Reaper has come to play this weekend! Just took down Porcello hard!!

Already tired of this crap, bring back kbo.

Stack everyday against the Mets. Be contrarian when Jake pitches and reap the benefits of the awfulness of this rotation.

I can’t believe just s few years ago we trotted out Harvey, Jake, Thor, Wheeler, Matz every 5 days.

I don’t think I can put pitchers in the captain spots at showdown contest this season.

One good thing about no fans in the stands… The crack of the bat is very pronounced! Im loving it ™!

Why? I always find value like a 4k batter down below. For example this Ruf dude is 4k and batting 3rd for SFG.

Same. I never do it. A pitcher captain requires a very narrow game script. And it would have to be an ace for me.

So looks like Bosox did the let’s get hopes up then proceed to suck route.

Don’t give up on the Reds. It’s looking like the extra time off has favored Votto! I’ve watched every at bat and he’s crushing the ball! His 2 double plays were smoked down the line, but the1B made GREAT catches and then just stepped on the bag for the DP. I’m all in on Votto until his price goes up significantly. Akiyama hasn’t produced yet, but he’s been making great contact (also playing him until his price goes up)! Not to mention Suarez, Senzel, Castellanos, Moustakas… I’ll be doing a max Reds lineup more often than not this year

I think most teams will be quick to pull starters this season, especially in foregone conclusions.

Last year the Braves probably would have let Newcomb get two more outs to get the W (they had a huge lead against the Mets at that point). Not this year. They have extra arms in the bullpen now.

I’ll still use a pitcher at the caption position if the K upside or offensive support is there.

Thanks for the insight! I don’t get to watch them play so I just see the line of text that says double play.

Ended up salvaging the day and turning a small profit by going in on Betts/Ruff/Urias/Turner in the nightcap showdown. I’ll take it after the day games!
