Does Degrom’s run support continue? If so play Eovaldi. And I was kinda liking Heaney tonight. There are a lot of pitchers tonight that are capable of HUGE games. Obv Cole, DeGrom, Morton, Boyd possibly. You can also play a big gun and go down to the bottom and maybe a play on Cueto?
I guess I was a fish for playing Trout last night.
Oh my goodness, look at our top-end pitcher options! It’s beautiful to see some decent pitcher options (that we can’t easily afford) after two days of horror.
I thought it was a good play too. Fletcher has been getting on in front of him but Trout has looked awful at the plate so far. Back to the well tonight? He has to get it going soon.
Thank God I don’t have to go back to the red Sox again tonight
Cole/Paddack/Twins
Last couple days I felt confident in my hitters but no idea about the pitchers. Today I feel confident with my pitchers but no idea about the hitters. I can’t fit in all the Yankees and Dodgers so gotta go dumpster diving once the lineups come out.
Agreed. They’ve burnt me bad.
Anyone get paid out by fanduel from last night contest?

Not yet
No Cole? NO Cash! & A slumping TROUT priced UP to 6200, wow.
That is one of my builds too. also like Morton/Heaney
I can’t believe how many Yankees are over 5000 on DK. Twins are priced reasonably and there are enough cheap Royals/Tigers RH hitters to fill in your lineups (even though I think that game has a good chance to be low scoring). I also hope Dom Smith is in the lineup tonight for the Mets.
Nope, still waiting. About to withdraw everything and go strictly DK. Fanduel playing way too many games. Won several tickets to the 3M nba return and still have yet to see the vouchers. FD fell off bad
so on topic with baseball; I can’t believe people are calling Joe Kelly a “hero” after intentionally hurling 95+ mph balls at players. Probably the same people who think Bountygate was ok
I just got paid and they finally added my bonus from my deposit 5 days ago. Time to MME on FD tonight. No clue where to start as I normally don’t do that.
You’re probably not going to believe this, but bounties existed before and more than likely are still going on.
On the topic of Kelly, i don’t agree with throwing at heads, but eff the Astros. Anytime it doesn’t hurt the other teams chances to win, i hope they peg them.
Joe Kelly is certainly not a hero, but the Astros deserve it.

Just shows how pathetic a real life sport baseball is when people get excited about a 95 mph fastball going behind someone’s head and then a bunch of guys come out and fake push towards each other. Serge Ibaka would beat up both of those teams at once if they pulled that s with him.
Do you like any sports? All you do is complain.
Baseball is macho sport played predominately by macho alpha males. When you cheat, you get punished. Not by the league apparently, but baseball tends to police itself.
I’m guessing you’re not really into hockey fights? You probably shed a single tear when Trevor Ariza checked Trae Young for trying to nutmeg him? Your favorite play in the NFL is a fair catch?
The world has got soft.

Been struggling so far, and there’s not much specific info here, but figured I’d share my small notes for each game, as I just wrapped up my initial round of stat hunting and not a lot going on in the thread. I’ll spread them out over a few posts.
MIL @ PIT
Pitcher lean park
Neutral weather
Neutral ump
Musgrove really only struggles with LHB’s
Yelich/Gamel + BVP and BBD
Stick to LHB’s for mini stacks. Adds RHB’s for full stacks, but not sure it’s worth going there.
Woodruff has some LHB struggles, but not interested in, unless need cheap bats.
(Frazier, Moran, Polanco, Reynolds)
Woodruff an acceptable SP2
TB @ ATL
2 decent pitchers.
Morton got hit hard 1st game, but Braves are expensive.
Soroka and Rays talented enough to cancel each other out.
Leaning all around fade
KC @ DET
Neutral park
Slight hitter weather
More neutral, slight hitter ump
Boyd will give up power to RHB’s
Whit OWNS Boyd
Hunt for power.
Soler, Franco, Perez
Probably not full stacks.
Duffy susceptible to RH power
Cron/Schoop look best. Maybe Miggy

BOS @ NYM
Pitcher park
Hitter weather
Eovaldi healthy now, so hard to say how good
Last season struggled heavily with LHB
A stack isn’t the worst. Could be contrarian.
LHB’s stand out, but adding Alonso or Cespedes to a stack for sure.
Boston bats coming alive vs. DeGrom would be DFS.
DeGrom logical SP1
LAD @ HOU
Javier appears to be a quick rising solid prospect.
Killer K rate in the minors.
Need more research, will come back-
LAD has fairly high total though and stacked offense. Tough on any rook.
May talented young arm,
Faired well last season. Lots of line drives to LHB’s
High GB’s to RHB’s
Brantley/Reddick check out best and are cheap.
On a slate where paying up for pitching makes sense, this stack’s price to upside may not be enough.
Revenge? Chippy? Over swinging? Who knows.

NYY @ BAL
Hitter park
Hitter weather
Cole is your SP1
Hayes and Santander could be worthwhile cheap punts, but little interest.
Woj is a fly ball machine.
OK K-rate to RHB’s
Reason Yanks have highest total.
Either lots of HR’s or long outs.
All the usual power suspects in play:
Stanton, Judge, Sanchez, blah blah
STL @ MIN
Pitcher lean park
Neutral weather
Slight hitter leaning ump
Hill effective when healthy
Hefty K rate, especially to RHB’s where he’s most susceptible to power
Not interested in full stack, but Goldy and Edman make most sense. Maybe Molina.
Not interested in stacks, but maybe as 1-offs. Hate 1B one-offs though.
PDL is a reverse splits righty, mostly, but does allow BB’s, HC and FB’s to Lefty’s at a fairly high rate.
This puts Cruz/Donaldson/Garver on the radar immediately. Kepler and Rosario nice stack fillers.

SDP @ SFG
Pitcher park
Pitcher weather
Hitter ump (oof, trifecta would have been nice)
Paddack could be susceptible to the LHP here, if it was a better park
Yaz K risk is real, Dickerson as well who stand out most.
Sandoval OK as well, but truth is other than Dickerson none of these guys are cheap enough on DK or truly worth the flier. Other than maybe Dickerson, but he can’t hit a change up.
Paddack good SP2, contrarian SP1, when need more money.
Cueto- Blah
Padres- Blah
Don’t dislike the expected- Tatis, Machado, Grisham, Profar (eventually these guys will hit)
SEA @ LAA
Hitter park
Neutral weather
New ump (no idea)
Heaney is your chalk SP2
Long and Seager are decent leverage one-offs.
Maybe Nola as a cheap C or White
Probably no stack
Dunn is an OK to above average prospect. Decent K rate in minors.
Possibly slight control issues.
Angels stack in play, but not 100% confident they’ll crush.
Need more research on Dunn.
Could be viable cheap SP2 if desperate.
