    how about this one

Fan who threw 96 mph at in-stadium radar booth signs contract with A’s

Baseball fan Nathan Patterson lit up the speed-pitch radar booth at Coors Field a few weeks back while taking in a game with his brother.
Now he signed a contract with a Major League Baseball team.
Patterson casually threw a 96 mph fastball at a Colorado Rockies game July 15, and on Thursday the Oakland A’s made his dream come true as the 23-year-old signed a contract with the club.

Showdown Prediction from the REAPER: – Cubs score 4 runs or less, all by the hands of Heyward who is 4/28 against Davies. – Mil scores double digits and Pina/Arcia combine for 1/12, 5 SO, 3 with BL, 3 GIDP, 2 with Bases Loaded. – Capt Schwarber goes 0-5.

I placed a $5 bet in honor of the REAPER’s efficiency for Cubs under 4.5, so it is highly likely Heyward drives in 5 runs!

So says the REAPER, so shall it be!!

    How about Tyler Alexander?

think he could be a decent play, don’t think he will get rocked. think he has a good K upside

  • yisman

    This is amusing.

You know how Fanduel reserves entries for you (tickets) with junk lineups?

It reserved a spot in a contest for me and Gingergaard is my pitcher.

I have no idea why this is. It’s not like he’s the cheapest P available.

The Reds LU looks not all that worrisome tonight.

Camargo the lefty masher for $3k vs a lefty.

  • BigPod

Alex Young starting instead of Ray

  • yisman

    Arizona just moved up Young.

    Ray has been scratched.

Young was originally supposed to pitch Saturday

    zero stats on file?

    zero stats on file?

yeah maybe it’s because he has the lowest FPPG or something.

Ray is now supposed to pitch Saturday, FYI. They just swapped the two pitchers.

Coors features a pair of gas cans on the mound w/ 13 proj pts…….

….but Camden Yards has a total that’s higher?!?!!

    yeah, somethings up here –

    • playMgM had an odd total @ 13.5
    • the “opener” for Tor’s 1st hurler was announced, industry went w/ 10.5
    • shortly accelerated to 11.5

my conjecture is an large unbalanced $$$ amt on the over was placed in Asia early this morning.

@ least that’s how the handlers who were working thru NBA fixer/ref Tim Donaghy did it.

  • hobbes2d

lmao @ the DK pricing for Coors. Belt 4K, Scooter 3.5 and Steven Duggar just got called up and he’s 2.9. Bwahahahahaha

  • telestraightshooter

Jeremie Rehak is UMP for TOR/ BAL

    Is he a pitchers ump?

  • KCWarriors

Anyone know why Alex Young, Arizona is showing as starting tonight? I show him for tomorrow not tonight.

Because Young is starting now and Ray goes tomorrow.

  • KCWarriors

Sorry for the post on Young, I just spotted the reason above my post.

no real books were offering 13.5….

that was not a bettable number

books don’t list a total until both pitchers are announced

Yeah, I specifically remember last season, or maybe the season before he was significantly better against LHP’s. Obviously since whenever this was things have shifted. Whether or not it’s sample size shifting it one direction too far or the other, I don’t know.

Judge at $3900 is also pretty hilarious.

I think the Dbacks could be sneaky tonight; Ross’s ERA is 9.85
