My heart wants to believe that Castillo is at the beginning of a James Paxtonesque period of 5.85 ERA baseball over several weeks.

My season long team (and early slate lineups) hope that your prognostication is incorrect!

The limited pitching options on the early slate have led me to a White Sox stack.

Castillo/Odorizzi with Reds and one-offs too chalky?

  • MattyMac80

On early slates like today I like to employ a few LUs with at SP and a closer, for example from the Twins I will do Odorizzi and Romo. Just wondering what you guys think about such strategies? Thank you.

  • realphipps

I’m stacking the Ray’s like I’ve been stacking loses lately.

Firing up Morton/Odorizzi , kinda want to play Castillo but think he could get rocked

I think you’re fine as long as one of your one offs is low owned or you have someone lower in the Reds order (Galvis maybe?). I just threw one in the $15 so I decided to stack against Jake but he’ll definitely be popular.

Bold Prediction, Meadows breaks the early slate. Leblanc 3.38 h/r per nine to lefties. Probably goes underowned because of the leftie/leftie matchup.

“Leftie” is hard in the eyes, but I do like some meadows. Mostly rolling with Roth and leftY bats in Minnesota

Did one lineup, landed on Castillo/Odorizzi….don’t have a stack of reds, I have 3, which I guess is a mini stack. Then like 3 twins and 2 one offs.

Jon Gray out for the season.

Was slated to pitch this afternoon.

    Melville replaces.

  • BigPod

    Jon Gray a scratch

  • yisman

Melville has never pitched for the Rockies.

He has pitched in six total MLB games (CIN, SD, MIN). 0-2, 11.05 ERA

In AAA this season, 5.42 ERA, 1.59 WHIP

In AAA last season, 5.33 ERA, 1.5 WHIP

Looking at his numbers and the D-Backs lineup is perplexing. Looks like he gives up the Long Ball to RHB but gives up the Walks to LHB’s. Trying to figure out which way to go.
