I love me some Buccos tonight……I wish 1 time they would allow Paul Stagerwald in the booth one time! Guy gets so freaking amped up when ever the Pens score. Imagine him calling a HR.

Hahaha Staggy is the man. Do you live in Pittsburgh? I think it was you who said you were at the Rivers the other night.

  • hcassidy

No Seth Brown is kinda sucking on DK. But what also sucks is that the A’s have 3 1B eligible players making them harder to stack than the Mariners.

  • yisman

All about a Yankees stack tonight, but Boone isn’t releasing a lineup…

I don’t live in Pittsburgh, but I live an hour away in Ohio near the border. I grew up all things Pittsburgh as most of my dads side of the family is from PA so I grew up on Sunday dinners watching the Steelers as a kid. So it became my hometown. Cleveland is also an hour away so I also watched lots of Indians games so I root for them as well(only Cleveland team). But yes, I’m always at the Rivers.

Nice. I grew up in southwest PA so I’ve been a lifelong fan. I’ve started traveling to Pittsburgh about once a month for work and I always make a Rivers stop while I’m there.

Chipotle went Wainwright in the $222 FD single entry. That can’t be anything more than leverage on Brewers chalk right? I know he’s much sharper than me but that’s about as bad of a matchup as possible.

  • pick6er

May going to be on a 50-60 pitch count tonight? Supposedly going to make a bullpen appearance in a few days.

  • yisman

    Didi sitting

not shocking, but I accidentally have him in a $1 lineup on fantasydraft

    2% owned

As for May, expect around 70 pitches

Sad thing is I go to Pittsburgh so much I’ve been looking for real estate(flat, townhouse) downtown to buy as a weekend getaway. I have one in Columbus as I spend weekends their during football season plus my girlfriend wouldn’t mind as she is an Artist and loves the Warhol Museum anytime we go to Pittsburgh. She does funky abstract art and tells me everytime we go its something new for inspirations. So I’m down with keeping her happy, but don’t know if I could truly pry her away from Columbus.

Lauer/May w Yankees and DBacks + K Seager and Justin Turner?

The L.A. Dodgers don’t have many weaknesses, but Padres pitcher Eric Lauer is one of them.

San Diego’s left-hander starter has been at peak performance in past matchups with Los Angeles, boasting a 4-0 record and 1.70 ERA through six career starts against the Dodgers, and gets the ball for today’s series opener at home.

Lauer doesn’t routinely go deep into outings, topping six innings of work only twice in his seven starts since July – both versus the Dodgers. The southpaw averages just over five innings per outing and has only recorded seven quality starts on the year.

As for L.A., since blasting the Toronto Blue Jays 16-3 on August 20, a game in which the Dodgers scored eight runs in the opening five innings, the club has produced just a total of five runs in the first five frames over their last five outings.

The Dodgers tend to do the most damage in the final innings of ball games, averaging 2.69 runs in the opening five innings on the road compared to scoring 2.90 runs through the final three innings.

When is St. Louis going to wake up and bench Old Man Rapunzel, the rally killer, aka No nails Carpenter.
Can’t they just bring up a minor league phenom and put the bearded one out to pasture.
